Looks: Smoke stands around six feet tall and has an athletic muscular build. Ever since birth he had his grayish color hair and has since grown it fairly long. Out of battle he allows this hair to be free, but during battle he keeps it restricted under a hood the covers the top and sides of his face. The bottom half of his face is covered by a gray cloth that extends to just under his eyes. The combination of this and the hood leaves only his eyes exposed. He wears a sleeveless black shirt under a gray sleeveless vest thats tied at the waist by a similar gray sash. His legs are covered by loose black pants similar to the undershirt. He wears black boots that appear to be some sort of armor that extends up his shin as well as hand guards that cover the top of his hands and lower forearm.
Personality: As a former assassin, Smoke is a cold blooded killer. But unlike other members of the Lin Kuei he was unable to kill off the last sliver of emotions which led to his eventual departure from their ranks. While he is forever tainted by his murderous past, he has become somewhat good natured.

History: Smoke's mother was once a member of the Yuki clan which held the kekkei genkai for hyouton. Around the time of Smoke's conception, backlash against those with the kekkei genkai began to rise. People feared those who possessed the power of ice as demons, and several lives had already been taken. His mother was unsure whether her child would be born with this tainted blood or not, but refused to silently wait and find out. She fled to the village hidden in the rain in the hopes that in this lawless region she and her child could never be found. Its here that Smoke was born.
Smoke was forced to grow up quickly in the violent atmosphere that was Amegakure. He began to study the arts of ninjutsu at an early age and began to experiment with the manipulation of smoke. As he grew up the use of smoke based techniques became the basis for his abilities. He also began to develop a friendship with another young boy named Kuai Liang. While they didn't know it yet, these two were both from the Yuki clan and had come to Amegakure through similar means. The two quickly developed a friendly rivalry and began to push each other to become stronger. Smoke also became friends with a female Amegakure shinobi named Akiza who taught him the majority of what he knows from rain, to genjutsu to some forms of taijutsu.
Eventually Smoke and Kuai Liang were recruited by an association of assassins known as the Lin Kuei and quickly become two of the premier assassins in the league. During this time Smoke went on countless missions assassinating a wide variety of people. One such mission was through a man code-named Scarface who offered the teachings of fuuinjutsu in exchange for a man's body. Smoke carried out the mission quickly and began the training, though Scarface has since abandoned the training leaving Smoke quite bitter (wonders if Scarface will read this XD). With every mission Smoke felt part of his soul becoming corrupted, his feelings slowly faded away. It was something that had always made Smoke feel uneasy but he just accepted it as part of the world. His friend had since awakened his kekkei genkai and assumed the code-name Sub-Zero. Despite this, Smoke still didn't know of their relation due to his mother keeping his origins a secret.
Smoke began to become suspicious of the Lin Kuei and their methods. What he discovered was that the Lin Kuei had acquired an ancient kinjutsu technique which allowed them to take control of a person who's soul had been tainted to a high enough extent. Their plan was to create a group of perfect assassins who obediently followed all orders, the cost, a loss of their soul. This didn't sit well with Smoke or Sub-Zero, together they fled from Amegakure and the Lin Kuei. Along their travels Smoke met a man named Chiryoku who finished his taijutsu training and pointed them in the direction of Konoha. Eventually the three of them arrived in Konoha where they live today.

Stealth: As an assassin, Smoke specialized in stealthy and quick kills. He believed that getting to a target unnoticed and dispatching them before they were even aware of his presence was of the utmost importance. After years of intense training Smoke is able to make movements that are silent to normal ears.
Wrist Launchers: Rather than using a large multi chambered wrist launcher like Kiho, Smoke uses two smaller single barreled launchers that sit concealed on the underside of both his forearms. These can shoot smoke bombs as well as release streams of smoke in the same way as Kiho's.
