Looks: Smoke stands around six feet tall and has an athletic muscular build. Ever since birth he had his grayish color hair and has since grown it fairly long. Out of battle he allows this hair to be free, but during battle he keeps it restricted under a hood the covers the top and sides of his face. The bottom half of his face is covered by a gray cloth or mask that extends to just under his eyes. The combination of this and the hood leaves only his eyes exposed. He wears a sleeveless black shirt under a gray sleeveless vest thats tied at the waist by a similar gray sash. His legs are covered by loose black pants similar to the undershirt. He wears black boots that appear to be some sort of armor that extends up his shin as well as hand guards that cover the top of his hands and lower forearm.
Personality: Smoke is a loyal and dedicated person. Having been raised in Amegakure he became accustomed to violence, though he himself isn't an overly violent man. He fights when he needs to fight and does so in a calm and steady manner. When out of battle he isn't much of a talker and prefers to rest. Because of this he can be found sleeping in odd places often catching unsuspecting people by surprise.

Background Info.
History: Smoke was originally born in Konoha, but before his first birthday he would find himself in a very different world. His father had fallen victim to the vices of sake and become a drunkard. At first this had been harmless, but it became worse and worse. One night after drinking an excessive amount he and another member of the Hyuuga family got into an argument. It began because Smoke's mother had recently had an affair with another member of the Hyuuga clan. Smoke's father heard of the betrayal and confronted the man. What started with words, ended with fists. Shortly after it began the other man lay dead. Unfortunately, this man was a member of the main family. Though a drunkard, his father wasn't a total fool. He knew that the seal on his forehead meant his death was imminent. That night, he took Smoke and fled the village, leaving his wife and escaping to Amegakure where he could disappear in the chaos riddled village.
It was here that Smoke grew up and believed his family to be from. It was a miracle that his father could care for a child, but it seemed he wasn't prepared to sever all ties with his former life, as he cared for Smoke better than he cared for himself. By his twelfth birthday Smoke had become the primary source of protection for him and his father, who now was constantly impaired. In order to keep protecting them from an increasingly violent life, Smoke trained endlessly to become strong. His father had taught him the basics of ninjutsu which Smoke expanded on through rogue ninja willing to teach him. He even was able to persuade a famed Rain Kunoichi, Akiza the Black Rose, to teach him Amegakure's hidden rain style. Around the same time he began to experiment with smoke based ninjutsu and became an expert in its usage. His father never revealed his lineage to him and he had never learned to unlock his byakugan, this caused him to rely on the same normal senses as those around him. Due to the constant usage of smoke, he developed an incredibly hearing ability similar to the kirigakure ninja who use the hidden mist. Over the years he continued to hone his abilities and grow ever stronger.
On a day soon after his twentieth birthday Smoke returned home to find his father heavily intoxicated, more so than usual. In his drunken stupor the father spilled the secret to Smoke's hidden past. Smoke became enraged as he always thought his mother had been killed. He beat his father to near death, but before the final blow was struck he stopped. Seeing the level to which his father had sunk, he decided leaving him there to finish his existence would be a more fitting punishment than death. He left Amegakure and departed for Konoha. Along the way he met a strange and mysterious man named Nexus who offered him the chance to learn medical arts. Seeing an opportunity to expand his skills, Smoke gladly accepted.

Stealth: During his time in Amegaure, Smoke specialized in stealthy and quick kills. He believed that getting to a target unnoticed and dispatching them before they were even aware of his presence was of the utmost importance. After years of intense training Smoke is able to make movements that are silent to normal ears.
Hearing: Another side effect of his reliance on smoke and stealth, Smoke has developed hearing akin to the hearing levels of hidden mist shinobi. This allows him to hear minute movements when his eyes fail him.
Smoke Apparatuses: Rather than using a large multi chambered wrist launcher like Kiho, Smoke uses two smaller single barreled launchers that sit concealed on the underside of both his forearms. These can shoot smoke bombs as well as release streams of smoke in the same way as Kiho's. He wears a ventilator over his mouth which serves the same purpose as Kigiri's gas mask, allowing him to breath in smokey conditions.
Gear: Smoke carries a wide variety of items he uses during battle. He has several pouches along his waist which hold the typical ninja weapons such as kunai, shuriken, explosive tags, etc. Another pouch holds specialized marshmallows which he uses for his marshmallow custom element. He wears a single katana on his back and is skilled in kenjutsu.
