Nah it's really awesome.

It's about a guy who is abandened by his royal status and takes on a alt persona "zero" with a mask and he decides to take on the evil hitler like empire his family runs, together with c.c he slowly gathers an army of rebels (freedom fighters) , this anime is really inspirational , it has some of the most awesome scenes I saw in anime (million zero's) for example

just watch it , it's amazing

Code Geass is the best anime that i've ever seen. you should definitely watch it!

it's even better than Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in my opinion!

Arguably one of the best animes I've watched.

Great ending. Great plot. Great animation and action. Questionable character designs of course, with their ***king sharp chins. They're still fairly likeable though ie. Lelouch.

Don't worry about the mechs. I dislike mechs generally, but Code Geass is my favorite anime. The characters are amazing, the story is inspirational, the interactions between characters/factions are cool, an easy to follow but extremely complex story, and there's a lot of intense fighting scenes but the real intensity is in the characters. It knows how to build momentum into the most fulfilling ending you'll find in an anime. It's genius.

Yes it is a very serious anime. It has a lot of humor in it, but main parts are serious and very emotional.

There's R1 and R2 of Lelouch of the Rebellion, just watch those in order. You're gonna love it.

Well i watched the first episode and i am not really convinced because i dont like the
character design of lelouch. On the other hand i found the reaction of lelouch to cliche.

Keep watching, it's only 50 episodes, and, as everyone else has said, it's seriously one of the best Animes. You wasted your time watching Hitman Reborn, there's no reason for you to not try Code Geass, no?

I know that it may seem as if we're simply saying Code Geass out of favouritism, as a Naruto fan might say Naruto, but no, it's honestly one of the best, really, I've watched if four times, still entertained.

It's..... ok. I don't really understand all of the praise it gets. I liked it, but I wouldn't even put it in my top 5. The plot twists were just kind of.. dumb, and towards the end it just got stuck so far up its own ass (the whole Geass explanation). Maybe it was because the ending was spoiled for me. But idk, just didn't feel it.

That being said, you should still give it a shot. It is in no way bad and it kept me entertained.
