Finished watching the first season of Code Geass this weekend and the last few episodes blew my mind, anyone else out there that's watched it and enjoyed it as much as I did?

I will be starting the second part this week sometime, also nearly finished Death Note which also totally blew my mind this weekend but once that's done Im gonna get cracking with part 2

I was gonna watch but i got hooked on One Piece i will start watching it soon alot of people prefered me to watch it

The first 49,5 episodes are really great, but the ending is what makes in one of the best anime out there. Rarely have I seen such a fitting ending.

I'm a really huge fan of Code Geass, as I'm sure it's painfully obvious already.

But anywho, it's definitely R2 that makes the series. Season 1 was great, but it's not until R2 that I can really say Geass struck me as masterpiece material. The real plot twists take place there, the character development gets even more amazing, and of course what I would deem as THE best ending I've ever seen in an anime.
