[Question] Code Geass or Death Note ?

Code Geass vs Death Note
Zero/Lelouch vs Kira/Light .

Which series is better in your opinion ?
And who do you prefer , Light or Lelouch ?

I planned on watching Code Geass and started watching, and then i found out i watched the second part and spoiled shittons for the first part, so i quit watching it. Though i did read Death Note Manga, and watched the Anime, and its motherf*cking beautifull, seriously, one of the best pieces of writing i read in my life.

Truth be told, I never saw code geass, but Death Note is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life.

when I watched it, I immediately thought of Death note, they are pretty similar, if you're talking about the psychological development and the way of thinking

Code Geass is nice, but Death Note is more developed.
I don't like both Lelouch and Light. L is the best for me.

storywise DN pre-timeskip > CG > DN post-timeskip
powerwise CG stomps no diff mostly because it's an action anime while DN isn't
Kira vs Lelouch depends on the scenario
characterwise Lelouch is better imo

Death note slightly takes this, But Code geass is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!! I finished it last month and truth be told its on the same level of death note but DN is slightly better.

Lelouch no contest, light didn't reach his goal and had one of the most pathetic deaths I have ever seen. DN was good when L was around but it dropped from its grace when Near and Melo tried to imitate L. While CG had two amazing seasons.

I prefer Death Note, but Code Geass is equally as good.

The problem with Code Geass is that a few of the early episodes seemed fillerish with little progression to the plot, whereas Death Note keeps a fairly steady pace throughout.

Code Geass is similar but its a bit boring
