I don't know if this is the right section, but can someone explain to me the ending of Code Geass?

Like from Episode 21 of R2 to the ending?

What was Charles trying to accomplish? what was ragnarok?

Why did V.V. Kill Marianne?

What was the purpose of the sword of Akasha? and what were those brown tree stems that were rising towards jupiter when they were in that separate dimension?

Also what was Schneizel trying to do with Damocles?

And why did Lelouch ask Suzaku to kill him at the end?

And finally what's the difference between a code and a geass? What powers does a code give you? In which way are they related?

OK, so Lelouch wanted the world to unite. So he made the world unite against him by becoming a dictator, and by having Suzaku kill him, he restored hope and peace to the world.

Charles has been trying to basically Kill god so that time can stop moving forward. Ragnorok was his tool to use to kill god. Using the sword of Akasha. V.V killed Marianne because he thought she'd only be a nuisance and take charles, his dear brother, Away from him.

Schniezel wanted to use damocles to launch those devastating warheads to every country. Showing off his power and gaining world peace through terror. Basically hes Pain

Lelouch asked Suzaku to kill him in the end because this was his way of gaining true world peace. They made this plan after they killed Charles. Lelouch would become the most hated man in the world, have every country, including Japan and Britannia who have hated eachother since episode 1 to put their differences aside and join forces to fight against him. After he beats them and basically runs the world for a while like a horrible tyrant. All the people care about is having him dead.

So he had Suzaku dressed as Zero. The original symbol of hope to japan kill Lelouch the evil emperor.

Lelouch had all the worlds hatred directed at him and once he was dead. There was nothing left to hate. Now all the countries focus on rebuilding and maintaining peace.

That is... The Zero Requiem.

Also Geass is the Eye power. After you mature your geass to both eyes and you kill the person who gave you the Geass you get their Code.

Once you have the code you lose your original Geass power but can give others the power of Geass. You're also Immortal.
