The best? Possibly
Anime such as Gintana, Steins gate and clannad AS are regaded as better on some poll review sites such as myanimelist.
Ginama is a gag anime, Steins Gate is very overrated imo and Clannad AS will be loved by anyone who thinks that an anime which goes to extrvagant unessecary legnths to pull on your heartstrings, which must be very weak, is good. In short, Code Geass would be better slated as By far the best serious Anime, a much more believable and truthful statement.
In other words, Code Geass <3

I don't think its the best. Definitely one of the best. One anime cannot be labelled 'the best' for me.
