ersonality Coby used to be the boy who lived in fear and doubt. But after his training with the Konoha Anbu, he gained confidence and courage, but his apology habit never seemed to die.

ooks In his first appearance, Coby was a small, timid, chubby boy with pink hair and round-frame glasses. Due to the passage of time and The Anbu's training, Coby has grown thinner and taller, standing close to Naruto's in height. He has also gained a cross-shaped scar above his right eye, presumably earned under one of his Anbu masters heavy-handed tutelage. His hair has grown longer and shaggier since his growth spurt, but it has retained its pink color. Even though he's an Anbu, Coby decided to change his outfit to a scarf, a white ''Marine like'' coat with the word "justice" on it, a merit on his jacket, and a new bandanna.  |

Coby was raised in a medium, not that rich not that poor, family, His father was a Kazakage servant and his mother was a sensei. So Coby felt neglected and left with a void in his life ( He often comforts himself by eating which led him to be fat), but Coby always had this ''One Dream'' of being an important ninja, a well know ninja.
One day, Coby was playing on the border of Sunagakure in a very dusty day with his friends. The parents of Coby's friends called their kids to come back home because it was dusty and dangerous, but, becuase Coby's parents were busy they didn't warn Coby to go back home.
The dust became thicker and thicker, Coby couldn't see where he was going until he reached to a point were the visibility was clear a little bit, but Coby was far from his home, he was far from Sunagakure.
Searching for a way back, Coby infiltrated some bandits, but because Coby didn't know how to fight the bandits managed to get the best of him.
Coby was held a hostage, he was tortured day and night. While held as hostage, the bandits went to sell Coby to the black market. While on the Konohakagure strip, the Anbu noticed the bandits and Coby, Coby was freed by the Anbu and the bandits were killed.
Coby saw this as a perfect opportunity to fulfill his dream of being a ninja, Coby begged and begged the Anbu to join them until they accepted
