Cloud Vs Link
Thunders crackled over twirling trees as a young man with spiky hair strolled through the breezy forest. His bright blue eyes seeing everything, from the fleeing birds to the wide-eyed deer, that gawked at the man. He was dressed in a dark blue overcoat, with a firm black cloak drapped around his body. On one shoulder was the growling face of a wolf. Yet the most fearsome feature of the young lad was the five foot long sword on his back, its width was over a foot, and terrifying to behold.
All of a sudden a figure appeared in his path. The figure drew a long sword with a blue hilt, in his other hand was shield with a hawk embrazened on the hem. The stranger to had blue eyes and had a green vest upon him. on his wrist, was three triangles glowing.
“Get back follower of Gannon, Zelda has told me of your evil, she has read you, you are a disease, you will leave this land or face my blade!”
The youth took a step back, this stranger must sense the mako dwelling within his blood, the jenova cells, the cells of the evil entitity that had nearly destroyed his planet.
However the spiky haired man didn’t get a chance to explain, as the green coated kid launched a savage blow from the short sword. Cloud saw the blade move in slow motion, he easily countered with a brief twirl. However the blow carried heavy weight, and cloud felt the ground beneath him buckle, the blow surprised him, and he was caught off guard.
Better fix this. With a quick sweep of his blade, moving faster than lightning he smashed the green coat away, tossing him five meters. The man groaned and flipped over.
“I am Link, Guardian of this land, and if you value your life you will leave this place!”
“I am Cloud, I am not-“
But link pulled something out of his bag, and slipped it over his face. It was a odd mask, the air all of a sudden turned cold like vapor. The storm cloud amassed over Cloud, and the spiky haired youth looked at Link in awe.
The sword seemed to grow and lightning started striking. Cloud teleported away from sixteen lightning bolts. This man had become more powerful, he had become almost a new being!!! Cloud then lept in the air as the very ground beneath him turned into flame.
Cloud raised his buster sword, and lunged toward link. Who met his attack with a parry, the collision of steel sent an echo through the entire forest, whole trees where uprooted by the mere shock. Cloud then felt himself being flung into the earth below him, which he retreated from as it turned into a swelling inferno.
Link raised his hand, “With the three triforce’s your life is neigh!!!”
Cloud twirled his blade, and with a flip he smashed the buster sword infused with material into the ground sending the inferno right back at the cloaked man.
With a quick twirl he deflected several lightning bolts aimed at him, then he flew towards the man, and unleashed a flury of attacks , each of them crashing against the man’s shield and sword. Cloud batted a shield away, and with a quick detach took the now detached sword and struck a gash across the man.
Link vanished, leaving Cloud facing a literal mountain of burning earth. Cloud raised his hand, and called forth a meteor from the sky. The meteor was quickly followed by several more, each of them slamming itno the burning inferno and sending thousands of shards towards link. Link vanished again and with sword upraised turned to slash Cloud.
Cloud quickly broke apart his swords and sent them flying into different corners, but before he could use his attack, Link appeared, with a twist, Cloud avoided a death blow, but instead taking a slash through the side. Cloud gasped as the shield smashed his chest and flung him back itno the ground. The Land below was shaking from the vibration of the meteors the forest was burning. Everything was in disarry the power of the being above was almost all powerful, he seemed to bending all of reality to his will.
Several more bolts careened towards Cloud, who barely managed to cast reflega, turning the bolts at Link. Then like a book closing two chunks of lands smashed into cloud. The land was then tossed back by Link.
Cloud broke from the rocks with a battle cry, his swords were still hovering in the sky, he had defeated a powerful being before, he would do so again!
Faster than a heartbeat or than light itself, he had the sword within his hand, and with it he slammed his blade into Link, passing right through sword and shield right for the mask. With a strike the mask was torn off the beings face and flung far away. Cloud took his next sword and with a quick strike bashed the sword out of Links hand, and with the other disarmed the shield. Cloud then quickly rolled unto the ground. Gasping, he felt his burnt and broken body. The gash in his side was heavy. He then turned as the green covered youth fell to the ground in a kneeling postion. His eyes were now glowing so was the triangle.
“Enough! I am a good guy and if you continue to fight me you will die!”
Link raised the triangle and with a wave of his hand he sent Cloud flying backwards. Yet before Cloud could retaliate or link to launch another attack. The skies parted and down from the heavens appeared three beings one green, one red, and one blue. Link gasped, and the next thing either person knew. Cloud found himself on the sandy coast outside of a beach.
