It was truly awesome seeing this. It was quite impressive even though everyone will try to downplay it and use horrible explanations such as plot, and bad writing.

Immediately no, but he literally required surgery afterwards (an organ transplant at that). Assuming the minion never came and warped them all away Shin probably would have died from complications. Also, she could have killed him if she so well desired; he was left immobile on the ground.

Wonder what a head punch would have done.
