He made it just in time. Jiraiya arrived out of breath on the execution platform just in time to save Tsunade. He couldn't believe it. He may of been slightly bruised and beaten trying to get through the Anbu black ops, but he was here now and he was going to save her. Coming back to reality he looks up seeing Aizen stood infront of him acting calm and relaxed as always, so cocky, but he'd gone too far. Trying to have Tsunade excuted so he could learn all her jutsu from her corpse. Jiraiya would never allow this, he would fight all of konoha if he had to.
Catching his breathe Jiraiya stood up straight a look of dead seriousness on his face staring Aizen in the eyes, standing between him and Tsunade. He wouldn't move no matter what. It didn't matter if she didn't feel the same as him, the only thing that mattered was keeping her safe.
Leave this to me Tsunade...

Jiraiya threw two kunai with tags behind him blowing up the pillars that bound Tsunade releasing her. He didn't even stop to look at her. She took two steps forwards, placing her hand on Jiriaya's shoulder as her way of thanking him. He gave a short nod and said only one work.
The appearance of the large Hermit before him came as no surprise. Aizen was hoping that it would have been Jiraiya that came to the aid of Tsunade and not any other ninja, for the defeat of a Sannin would deal a major blow to Konoha. Besides, even if Jiraiya managed to escape, the female Sannin could always be recovered later. Aizen hadn't met Jiraiya beyond a few instances of passing meet and greets during his time as a Konoha ninja. Now, they were enemies. It would have been most unwise for Aizen to not have done any research on the Sannin, given his considerable reputation and powers. But it would most beneficial to stay on guard throughout the conflict, there were surely things that could go wrong, which could definitely lead to an undesirable outcome. Looking at Jiraiya, Aizen spoke to him from the smouldering remains of the execution stand, simultaneously moulding his chakra and trapping the Sannin in an illusion. He draws his sword from the sheath on his hip slowly in his right hand, ensuring that his opponent would see the weapon.
It was nice of you to come to that woman's aid, Jiraiya. Did you come here knowing the risk, or was it a blind desire to rescue her?
Making the confirmation seal with his other hand, Aizen causes the light of the sun to reflect off the blade of Kyōka Suigetsu, and then initiates the true effects of the Genjutsu. Modifying the Parietal Lobe forcefully, Aizen would induce a sharp feeling of pain within Jiraiya's chest after the light blinds him. In the Sannin's eyes, the light would dim and his sight would partially return to normal, only to reveal that Aizen was no longer standing at the execution stand, but behind him, holding the sword he would see himself impaled with. He would not be able to move due to Aizen having tampered with the Cerebellum as well. Letting both arms hang freely at his side, Aizen simply gazes at Jiraiya with emotionless eyes. Faking innocence, he speaks to his opponent.

Shortly after being blinded, the opponent will feel a sharp pain in their chest from believing they were stabbed in the back into the chest inside the illusion from the sword the opponent seen the user unsheathe from his holster earlier. Once the opponent is stabbed through the chest, the blinding light will dim down only to reveal that the user is no longer in his initial spot but the one holding the sword that stabbed opponent from the back. In reality the opponent is unable to move and receives mental damage once stabbed in the genjutsu, causing mental pain and giving the user an opening to attack.

Jiraiya stood watching Aizen as he reached for his sword. He was ready. There was no going back now, Aizen had gone to far and he was going to pay for what he'd done. Jiraiya had passed him in the village and he'd seen that aura about him that he recognised before in one that used to be his best friend, Orochimaru. He had that vibe to him that Jiraiya didn't trust especially after seeing what he was capably of in the chuunin exams. Jiraiya wasn't going to let his guard down. He was here for Tsunade, and if he failed here, Aizen would kill her. He couldn't let that happen, No, he wouldn't let that happen.
Don't talk like you know me Aizen, i know all about the mind games you like to play, and they wont work here...
As Jiraiya says this he sees the light reflect from the sword dimming his vision as he raises his hand up to block the light but it was too late, he felt his vision was impared. After he'd just said he wouldn't let Aizen's tricks get to him. He couldn't rely on his sight, there was only thing to do, rely on one of the senses only know to few. As he though this he released his chakra throughout his entire body in a surge unlocking a new sense, his Sixth sense. In doing so he could conquer his fear and become at one with himself and focus in this fight. The change in his chakra would be enough to break the genjutsu he was in as he saw Aizen still stood where he began. Jiraiya wasn't going to wait for him to make his next move.
Jiraiya dropped a flash bomb that blinded Aizen or atleast distracted him making him cover his eyes. As he drops the flash bomb he throws two shuriken at Aizen's chest then appearing behind him with blazing speed doing a round house kick to his back sending him forwards into the two shuriken.

The use of such a Genjutsu would have elicited an actual reaction. But it didn't, and a variety of possibilities sprung into his mind. The appearance of two small objects falling from Jiraiya's hand was a tactic he should have expected above all else, but now was not the time to wonder over such matters. Covering his eye with his left hand, the blinding light is barely shielded. A meagre distraction at best, the sounds he could hear painted a picture that his eyes would normally see for him. The sound of footsteps near and behind him, the incredibly faint sound of objects flying through the air.
He only smirks.
Closing his uncovered left eye and letting his arms hang by his side, sheathing Kyōka Suigetsu, Aizen concentrates his chakra around his body and vibrates it at extreme speeds. Forming a vortex of electricity around him, Aizen then modifies the frequency of the vibrations, performing shape manipulation. A dragon's head forms out of the Lightning he created and surges forward to deal with the objects he could hear moving through the air. The vortex surrounding Aizen's body would shock Jiraiya moderately, and the dragon's head surging forward would ensure that the objects he could hear would be dealt with. From within the safety of the vortex, Aizen taunts Jiraiya further.
Blinding explosives? I was under the impression that one such as yourself would be above tactics of exceedingly overwhelming mediocrity. I suppose I was wrong to expect more from a ninja of such praise.

Jiraiya always knew about Aizen's trickery and his illusions but this was his first time facing them as an enemy. But he brought it on himself for trying to kill Tsunade. As Jiraiya dropped his flash bomb he saw Aizen raise his hand to cover his eyes, Jiraiya dashed behind him with blazing speed when he saw the first crackle of lightning, Aizen knew! Already in motion to do his kick, Jiraiya releases a stream of fire from his right foot pushing him back 6m as the lightning tornado forms around Aizen. Jiraiya slides to a halt still behind aizen narrowly escaping the lightning. He'd have to be more careful. Had Aizen allowed him to get so close as a trap or was it just a coincidence, Jiraiya wasn't going to risk it again. The head of the dragon would of smashed into the ground where Jiraiya was before he'd quickly moved.
It was time for a new Tactic. if Jiraiya couldn't get up close from the sides, then he'd just have to attack from above and below, within two handseals (earth speciality) jiraiya does a super fast combo using his earth release. With his first handseal he causes a portal to open above you that's 5m in diameter causing sticky mud to drop down on you from above, with the second handsweal he cause the ground below you to drop 5m suddenly so that as the mud's dropping down the ground 3m around you drops creating a pit for you to fall into being burried alive by mud.

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram → Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.
Aizen couldn't hear the sound of violent electrocution that he had been expecting, so that would mean that the Sannin had escaped. The sudden heat he could feel from his left-hand side was most likely part of what allowed Jiraiya to escape with his life. Aizen opened his closed left eye as the electric vortex dissipated around him, but did not turn to face his enemy. There was only silence on the battlefield. There was dust billowing where there was activity, but nothing else moved. Once again, it was far too quiet. Jiraiya was crafty for a brute force fighter. Though, the records Aizen discovered were more than likely outdated. The fight would go nowhere if it was just passive defense in response to attacks. Furthermore, the longer Aizen deliberated, the more difficult things would be if the rest of Konoha came to take him. It was a predicament he had not seen since his previous betrayal of Konoha.
Suddenly, Aizen sees a darkness looming over him. A shadow cast on the ground, a slight drop in the heat he could feel on his back. There was something above him. He would not wait for it to come to him. Gathering chakra and infusing it with the air around him, he manipulated it so that it was gather around his right foot. Jumping off said foot, Aizen uses the chakra to give him an extra burst of speed to avoid whatever was about to find itself crushing him. Just as he jumped, he lost most of his power. What happened? He was still moving forward, but not nearly as quickly as he would have liked. He would look to see what had happened after he had landed. While he was still in the air during the jump, he forms the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare rapidly, sending his chakra into the ground upon landing. Considering that he did not know Jiraiya's exact location, he'd need to increase the scope of the technique. Vibrating the chakra beneath the ground at a specific frequency, Aizen forces up 4 pillars from the ground. Two of the pillars would form to his left and right, slightly behind his general position, and the other 2 would form at the very edge of the cliff atop the hill, so as to cover the widest range possible with the allowed space. Spiking the vibrations of the chakra in the pillars, the area within the boundaries of the pillars would become the domain of lightning. If Jiraiya was caught inside, he would be electrocuted, and at the very least, unable to continue fighting.
After the lightning triggers within the pillars, Aizen turns to see whether or not the Sannin fell victim to his counterattack.

Once they rise, they unleash a barrage of lightning bolts, currents and shocks to whatever is inside, paralyzing, shocking and damaging the target from all around.
