(Suna no Tate) - Shield of Sand

Description:
A self sustaining, self aware, autonomous defense, its the technique which made Gaara renown for having what was later called "Perfect Defense". Basically, any Sand nearby will encircle the user and move to intercept any attack that is used against him. The sand is fast enough to intercept otherwise "instant" techniques such as Amaterasu or very fast Taijutsu attacks (up to trice the users base speed) and can stop A-Rank blunt force impacts such as those delivered by Taijutsu or solid elements. The sand can even create an otherwise perfect sphere of sand around the user in a split second. Even if the user is unaware of an attack, the sand will protect him. The disadvantage is that the shield will drain chakra from the user each time it defends him, which happens without his input. However, the user can still defend from techniques and "will" the shield to not act if he is in the process of producing a counter to the impending attack. In some special circumstances, the sand can gather and form a female-like protector in the path of an incoming technique, much stronger than the normal shield of sand and which can protect the user from attacks up to S-Rank.
Note: Its defensive abilities still follow elemental weakness and strengths.
Note: If there is no dirt or sand on the battle field, the technique will use the users own Sand from his Sand Gourd.
Note: S-Rank protection will disable the Sand Shield for 2 turns and can only be activated once every 4 turns.

Kazu sprints forward then reaches behind his long black robe to grab two kunai from his item pocket, however before he grabs the kunai rings he reaches back with his other hand to perform the hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger in seclusion. After performing the hand seals his position is now mid range still facing his opponent he performs the Tora hand seal with his right hand causing a wild gust of directed gas to shoot from his mouth and into the surrounding area of the opponent. After blowing the gas directly at the opponent Kazu stomps the ground with his left foot causing his momentum to suddenly halt, now with the forward momentum of the stomp he bends his left knee then quickly extends his leg and foot causing him to jump back. Whilst in mid air he grabs the kunai rings and swings his left hand forward releasing the kunai rings causing the two kunai to shoot forward towards the opponent.

- Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance Technique Rank: D Type: Offense/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid Chakra Cost: 10 Damage Points: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball.

- Fire Release: Blazing Shuriken Dance Rank: D Type: Offensive Range: Short-Mid Chakra cost: 10 Damage points: 20 Description: The user will throw several shuriken infused with fire at the enemy and then, through a mental command, ignites them to cause extra damage.

Gaara was not even taking him seriously he just wanted to test his enemy how strong he is and what he is capable of, after his enemy released flammable gas gaara crossed his arms and wanted to know what will happen suddenly it iginted into large fireball coming at him sand automatically defend gaara from it as his shield was activated, after that his enemy infused katon chakra into kunai's and throwed towards gaara wich was defended automatically, Attacks like this won't work on me kid, Let's see how you handle this as this words were spoken gaara quickly started gather chakra channeling it into sand gourd releasing sand and using shape manipulation creating 4 shuriken of sand throwing it towards his enemy

Description: The user sends upto ten fast moving spheres of sand. They are not sharp, and hence cause merely blunt force damage such as fractures. They move faster than normal shuriken.

The gas was never ignited thus causing the gas to still be in the air, however it was too early to ignite the gas due to the fact that the gas left his mouth just mere seconds of the beginning back spin. at this time the two kunai flew straight towards gaara and come into contact with the gas, however it was bare because at this time the gas was now downgraded a bit due to the time it took to back jump. Kazu made a mental note to cause the kunai to ignite which caused the fire to mix with the gas causing a large fireball to explode, however at the time of the kunai igniting Kazu landed his right foot on the sand and his attention never left gaara's sight so he saw the incoming blunt objects flying at him. The kunai is now just beginning to mix with the gas but not yet making a full fire ball yet and Kazu drew his katana from the side swiftly to cut the first incoming object with a upward stroke, then with momentum he spun to the right dodging the second. At the time of the dodge he drew back the katana to the side and once the short spin finished he cut the third one with a vertical swing and closing his eyes to stop the sand from hitting his eyes. At this time the mixture of gas and fire fully mixed into a fireball and the final blunt sand object was flying towards Kazu, however due to the mental note he made of where the final object would be he could merely and simply dodge the final one with a swift side step to the left. Kazu began to sprint forward towards gaara with the position of the blade firmly stiff held close to the ear and the blade pointing forward. At this time the fire ball mixed well with the gas and thus causing a explosion that in return causing the sand of defense to spread out leaving a large opening in front of gaara. Kazu barely avoided the explosion but he was far enough to not get hit and close enough that the sand would not have time to form back and block the in coming sword thrust from Kazu, or at least that's what Kazu thought and that was his plan.


Note: never said i ignited it thus making the fireball effect in your post invalid and thus causing me to write a full description of what happens.

Gaara saw how quickly kid planned all of this and was impressed but it was not enough to touch gaara, big fireball wich was coming from his opponent was easlly stopped by the sand wich gaara created, but stopping this technique was quite hard and draining as it required 30 chakra points, after that he saw how kid was running at him while holding a sword his his hands in order to kill gaara, Sorry but clone range isn't my favourite gathering chakra and using nature transformation changing it's chakra affinity into wind making his chakra as thin and sharp as possible channeling it into mouth and releasing sphere of air wich blowed backwards enemy stopping him from getting close to gaara, after that gaara gathered chakra once again using nature transformation changing it's chakra into water channeling it into his right hand and releasing it using shape manipulation creating a sword. Comee.

Kazu was stopped suddenly then flung backwards by the gust of wind from close to medium range, however to stop him from flying back to long range he thrusts his sword into the ground to stop his backward speed. After standing up from the wind blast Kazu notices that his blue trench coat and other attire has small slits across the sleeves and chest which is slightly showing skin. Kazu looks up towards gaara and took his hand off of the katana to slap his hands together, ''Lets see how your shield handles after this.'' Kazu quickly forms the hand seal ''Tiger'' form the position of his hands to conjure a pool of mud in front of him that leaked slowly to gaara's feet. After forming the mud pool Kazu performs the hand seals Ram → Horse → Dragon swiftly to create a dragon like head from the mud, then immediately after he performs the hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger then forming a ring made by the thumb and index finger causing a large amount of flame to boil up from his stomach and out of his mouth which blew towards gaara in a right angle. After blowing the fireball Kazu activates the mud dragon to shoot mud bullets at the opponent which mixes with the fireball to form lava bullets that shoot towards gaara.

- Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique Rank: C Type: Offense Range: Short-Mid Chakra Cost: 15 Damage Points: 30 Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally. The fire ball can present itself in 2 forms: it can either be created by a stream of fire and sustained as a gigantic ball of flames in front of the user spanning up to short range or be released as a slightly smaller ball of fire which will travel towards the enemy up to mid range.

- Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Rank: C Type: Offense Range: Short-Long Chakra Cost: 15 Damage Points: 30 Description: When used with Earth Release: Earth Flow River, the user will then perform the Ram → Horse → Dragon they can create a dragon-like head that fires concentrated mud bullets at an opponent. This can also be combined with a fire jutsu to shoot lava toward an opponent. The dragon can be created from other mud techniques as along as a mud source is available.

- Earth Release: Earth Flow River Rank: C Type: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid Chakra Cost: 15 Damage Points: N/A Description: After forming the needed hand seal (Tiger), the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud that throws them off balance and carries them away from the user. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique.

Gaara was impressed as his enemy tried to trap him creating mud bellow him, after gaara noticed it he would gather as much chakra as he could and then used nature transformation to change it into sand chakra channeling it into gourd releasing it using shape manipulation and creating sand cloud standing in it flying upwards, getting into long-range being in long range was advantage to him as his enemy used mid range fire technique to attack him and doton technique was easlly avoided by his sand shield after, after he avoided all techniques throws at him he started to attack his enemy flying towards them as he got into short range gaara jumped from sand cloud, jumped from sand cloud spinning in the air and raising his right leg towards opponent kicking him into face wich would send enemy backwards

As Kazu sees his opponent fly upwards with sand it was not really surprising due to that fact of his sand mastery, however it did upset him a bit due to the fact that he used three jutsus that he was sure to hit him but in the end didn't. ''Damn'' he said while darting his eyes towards him with a clear intent to watch his next move; noticing that gaara began to approach it was clear that he was either going to attack with his weapon or with taijutsu and in the end he used taijutsu which was a very bad idea on his choice. Gaara had no clue that Kazu was a master at taijutsu and the human body, he was even a sensei of a group called the white lotus that specialized in the art. When gaara got close enough Kazu knew that the battle was going to end quite soon due to the attempt of a stretching long kick delivered by the opponent.

Kazu smiled behind his mask right before the swift delivery of the kick and with swift motion he blocked the right incoming kick directed at his right cheek with his right forearm and his elbow bent closed in at his face. After the sudden halt of the momentum caused by the block Kazu quickly moved his right hand down towards gaara's ankle to grab it tightly then with swift motion whilst gaara is still in mid air he moves his left hand behind the thigh. Immediately he pulls back with his left hand and at the same time he pushes with his right hand causing the knee bone to shift out of place which in return also causes the tibia bone in the leg to shift back behind the knee. Whilst the bone shifts behind the knee a large pain shoots through out gaara's body and eventually hitting the brain causing the joints of his body to lock disabling his movement and his eye iris grows up and down rapidly once due to the sudden shock of the pain.

''You would've been more effective long range'' He says in confidence whilst he summons a small pillar below his feet to raise him upwards to eye level with gaara.

The shock of the pain would only lock his joints up for a few mere seconds, however that is all that was needed. Within these few seconds he reached behind his black slightly torn cloak to grab a kunai whilst he still held his opponents ankle with his right hand firmly. Kazu extends his arm forward towards gaara's throat with the kunai blade pointing downwards from his hand closing in near his throat. ''I win..'' Kazu says whilst he struggles to catch his breath for a few minutes.

After gaara's attack was blocked, gaara quickly smirks as he knew that close range fight was not his favourite, but it was perfect opportunity for his enemy to finally touch gaara but after gaara missed his kick he quickly gathered suna chakra channeling it into gourd and releasing it changing his entire body and making it into sand with the sand his enemy would not be able to attack and gaara once again got into mid-range Good attempt but attacks like that won't work on me, After this words were spoken gaara quickly gathered chakra and released it entering enemy's chakra system and disrupting it putting him into genjutsu in wich many clones of gaara would appear and if he would kill any of them they would multiply, gaara then got into long range enjoying the show

Kazu jumps off from the small earth pillar he had made and noticed multiple forms of the same figure supposed to be named ''gaara''. ''I resorted you to using B-rank jutsu and now i pushed you to using genjutsu, This battle is surely interesting.'' He says finally catching his breath but then he swiftly bites his thumb causing a small amount of pain to rush throughout his body which in return reset his chakra flow; The illusionary clones disappear as the genjutsu was broken.

Kazu walks calmly to his katana that was still thrusted into the ground from earlier, he knew that there was no way to attack his opponent from mid range without wasting his chakra so the best thing he knew how to do at the moment was to wait for a attack and figure out its weak points. After grabbing the handle of the blade he pulls it out from the sand and with a gentle upward swing to clean it from the sand particles he rested the blade upon his left shoulder to wait for the next attack.

Pain, Altering the physical energy through pain, causes it to fluctuate by "shocking" your body. Your chakra flow experiences a spike, due to the pain, and resets your chakra flow thus breaking the Genjutsu. The higher the pain inflicted on your body, the higher the "spike".

Gaara was not impressed that his enemy figured out that this was genjutsu as it was quite weak and gaara was not best using it gaara really was tired from this battle lacking excitement holding his sword into right hand and started to analyze situation before attacking enemy, suddenly his enemy started to talk about the battle and gaara smirked Pushed me huh... ?!after this words were spoken gaara immediately gathers chakra using nature transformation changing it into suna chakra and channeling it into his gourd then he manipulates sand beneath his opponent quickly rising up a sand pillar throwing off enemy's balance but futhermore lifting him into the mid-air, being confused was one of the components from this technique as it rises up enemy at high speed after that gaara quickly gathered chakra once again using nature transformation using it to change chakra's nature affinity and channeling it into gourd releasing sand and creating shape manipulation and creating compressing it to incrase it's hardness and strike power, this techniques speed is very fast it's like constant, it's force and speed can strike enemy with such speed and force that it knocks them unconscious, this would hit him and send his enemy fly damaging him seriously but not killing yet
