Special Rules:

This is an official battle for the Custom Element of Francium Release which belongs to Cobalt, If Yashiro is able to defeat Cobalt under the circumstances and rules agreed by both himself and Cobalt, he would learn every technique of Francium and the entire element as a whole.

Iori kicks off the match immediately and attacks by creating an earthen Boar shaped lid which he has drop down from above Giovanni in order to trap him within it.

Iori then performs 2 handseals and focuses his earth chakra into the ground beneath Giovanni, causing the ground beneath Giovanni all around him in short range to form into a swamp, the swamp is long range in depth making it pretty much very hard for earth techniques to solidify the ground from beneath, and due to the dropping lid, it would cause a great shadow to be casted all around Giovanni, making it hard for him to see that the ground has been altered beneath him.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Seeing how a shadow is created above him, Giovanni for a second rasies his eyes to see the lid dropping down. Immediately he focuses his chakra into the ground creating a golem of earth and stone to rise up with Giovanni at his nape. The golem, with it's huge bulk takes his arms up and stops the dropping lid and then uses it like a disk which he throws at Yashiro. The speed and might it comes with as well as the enormous size of it, will make it quite difficult for his opponent to evade. With the swamp beneath Giovanni created it's not much of a problem due to the huge size of the golem protecting him. The golem pulls himself out grabbing mud in his hand which he also throws at the opponent as he climbs out of the swamp.

Seeing the golem of Giovanni catch and toss the earthen lid at Iori, he smirks and decides to create a golem of his own, Iori then focuses his earth chakra into the solid ground before him a nd creates a large golem made of solid and tough earth...

"I have big and tough friends too..."

Iori then has the stone golem drop his hands to the ground and as the lid reaches it, he manipulates the golem into lifting his fists fast upwards to slam the lid overhead and away from Iori and itself, Iori then has the golem drop his fists from above Giovanni and his golem, and performs a single hand seal before placing his hands onto the golem's back releasing a sum of his earth chakra into the golem and having the weight of his fists being drastically increased before manipulating the golem into slamming Giovanni into his own golem and crushing him.

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

Iori then performs another hand seal and creates 2 shadow clones beside him, one on his left and one on his right, we will call them - Yashiro and Cobalt Yashiro to the right and cobalt to the left.

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.

You didn't defend from the mud my golem threw at you. With the golem being created, he throws the lid overhead, which means his upper body is exposed. The mud that hits him should be heavy enough to knock him over and make him fall on his back, along with the lid pulling him back as he knocks it over himself. Which in turn would lead to you being crushed by your golem and/or the mud which would drip over him down to you, crushing and suffocating you. That is the worst case scenario. Let's talk this out over VM and see what we'll do.
