With Lancer steadily coming inside of the dojo, dressed in his full attire for the event. Wearing a emerald covered outfit, a Gi, with a specially colored black silk belt around his waist. He bows his head in honor of his opponent. Lancer would slowly move back into a five meter distances between one another. With his eyes firmly lock onto the body of his opponent. He begins to take his stance.
Lancer would take up a normal fighting stance, to initiate the battle. His legs about shoulder width apart, he brings his right foot slightly back behind him, with his left foot forward. The front leg (left) is bent ever so slightly, the back leg is also bent slightly (right), this way he can maintain a good center of gravity. Lancer brings his left hand up, towards his face, slightly extended out. His right hand is to his waist, with the palm open. Lancer keeps his body relaxed, and makes sure not to tense up, so he can keep his movements rather fluid and prepared for any counter-attacks his opponent has up his sleeves. Lancer goes up on his toes, and dashes towards his opponent with haste. Quick feet was Lancer's goal as he runs at the opponent, maintaining eye contact throughout the way there, and still remaining relaxed and at ease muscularly.
As Lancer gets arm distances away from his opponent, with his right foot in-front of him, Lancer stops his running, maintaining a similar stances as in the start, to regain balance, he can finally initiate his attack. Using his right hand, keeping his palm open, he delivers a straight palm thrust to the opponents chest, slightly stepping forward as he throws the attack, to create more of a thrusting momentum. This way, you would be pushed back, as well as the bones in your chest crack up, and air knocked out of you. Since the palm is open, there won't be much of a devastating attack, more cushioning. But it does allow Lancer arm to remain more fluid, and less tense for quick motion and counter attacks, knowing his opponent would likely counter this attack with ease, there would insurance for Lancer. He expects either his palm thrust will be re-directed, or caught, and evasion could also be an option, to be ready for these likely options, Lancer sets his body up accordingly.
He keeps on his toes that way he can move quickly to match his opponent evasion if he so chooses. Lancer left hand will be tucked to his side, arm open, that way if he tries to re-direct it, he can quickly send another attack with his hand, or use his other one to be prepared to counter his opponent. Lancer always hated to be put in a position where he could have prevented in the first place. Defense wins championships anyway.
