- Custom jutsu(s) and Custom element(s) are not allowed

Torune Bio (Blue in Sig)

"So....Myatogan is it? Let's ee how you fair"

Torune starts off by simply making a simple handseals, causing an orb of water to be created in front if him. He then causes it to breakup into several different whips that aim to strike you. Bugs then begin to fill the air and ground alike, dispersing artound the battlefield.

(Suiton: Suiryūben) - Water Style: Water Dragon Whip

Pulling from his back the fan-headed staff, Mystogan quickly swings the staff across his body, generating a large, spinning tornado which moves towards the man standing across from Mystogan, the great speeds of the wind generating impressive suction which draws in the individual whips of water, which in turn cause enough resistance to the tornado's momentum to cancel out both techniques. Then, immediately after generating the tornado, Mystogan begins to place his staff back on his back with the other four, making all the steps of drawing, swinging, and replacing the staff one fluid motion. At the same time that Mystogan replaces his fan-headed staff on his back, he glares at his opponent, casting a genjutsu in which a snake slowly winds its way up the man's body, constricting his movement. Then, as Mystogan noticed small clouds leaving the man's body, after the staff is paced upon his back, Mystogan quickly claps his hands together, releasing a sphere of chakra in order to sense everything within mid-range of himself, so as to monitor the bugs (as his barrier revealed a large number of small, moving objects which Mystogan guessed were bugs, judging by his study of the Uchiha, and to a lesser extent, Konoha's 4 noble clans, one of which being Aburame) and his opponent at the same time. With the barrier active, the snake in the genjutsu begins to squeeze harder, causing strain on Mystogan's opponent and afflicting actual damage through mental stress.
I hope you accept my opening; I didn't feel like generating a barrage at one moment... Assess the strike and reply in kind, no?

That was an okay move, but in the sensei test you're going to be a little more offensive. Like for say, pressure the tester ALOT more. I'm pretty sure we can handle just about anything you can throw at us or we wouldn't test you, you know? That was a good start suing Genjutsu, Wind, and Ninjutsu in a single post. Pretty good so far, but you might want to attack more when you cast a Genjutsu on someone. In our RP, there are several ways to break out of a Genjutsu, so it's better to use it as much as you can to get the upper hand. even if you just freeze me for a little, attack and cause pressure upon me. That's all I have to say right now. Good jo countering, but it's my turn..

As Torune suddenly sees a Snake start to crawl up his body, he doesn't panic, but simply allows his bugs to access the situation for him. His bugs, who constantly feed on his chakra, would know when it's disturbed or spiked. So, as there is no physical essence of a snake upon him, his bugs kow it's a Genjutsu, so they gather upon him, like they already are, then suck the foreign chakra from him, relieving him of the Genjutsu in practially no time.

Yeah, I was thinking about that when after I posted, but then I decided that variety in my moves, going beyond a barrage of elements, and, most importantly, getting a "sensing" barrier up were more important for my first move.

Mystogan begins by forming a single handseal, causing seven spikes to protrude from the ground all around the man across the field from him. The spikes are aimed so that one comes up on either side of the man, angled to pierce both of his ankles, with the other five positioned in a pentagonal formation around the man, all aimed to pierce at solar plexus level (down the center of your chest where the space between the left and right ribs begins). Then, creating a second handseal as if Mystogan were casting a single jutsu, he makes the "tiger" seal, building up katon chakra within his body and releasing three dragons of flame which fly towards the ideally pinned-down man, one straight towards the man, with the other two flying around in a horizontal arc shape to attack from the right and left sides, respectively. Then, utilizing the large fire dragon blocking his vision of the man, and therefore the man's vision of him, as well as the heat distortion created by the dragon as cover, Mystogan takes his hands apart and then claps them together into the "tiger" seal once more, manipulating the light reflecting off his body in order to camouflage himself near perfectly. With his camouflage active, Mystogan removes his fan-headed staff from his back, and begins to slowly walk to his right, the man's left, around in a wide circle towards him, preparing a sneak attack while remaining invisible to the naked eye.

The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.

That was a way better move. I like the use of the spikes and fire combo. Distraction then Massacre method is nice. But the only thing is, you wasted a move. When battling someone, and not MetaGaming, you want to use their ablilites to your advantage. I had already used bugs and you know bugs can sense enemy's chakra and pinpoint it, especially since they are spread along the floor and in the sky. So trying to conceal yourself is useless, in this case. You should've tried to stack another low ranked, fast jutsu or another Genjutsu. ^.^ But anyways, good job.

As Torune feels a slight tremor under his feet, before the spikes emerge, he simply makes his body malleable, allowing for the spikes to move right through him, effectively, rendering them useless.

"Haa, guessed right."

As the 3 fire dragons are spewed from your mouth, Torune has already taken the advantage, well his bugs have atleast. As you attack Torune, two things happen simoultaneously. One being that bugs immediately start to gather upon your feet, already having your chakra signature, making it impossible for you to hide from them. Two, torune has done 1 handseal, spewing out 3 fastly rotating balls of water that collide with your fire with pinpoint accuracy, still halfway in between the two opponents, creating a desirable amount of steam. Just as you would be turning invisible, you find yourself being picked up from underneath by many bugs. As they carry you to a desirable distance in the air (5 Meters) they squeeze, crushing your arms and legs. If you don't make it out of the bugs quickly, you'll surely be hurt bad.

With his sensing barrier errected, Mystogan easily senses the minute movements of the crawling and flying bugs coming towards him. With the steam covering all vision between himself and the man, Mystogan disregards turning invisible, knowing that these bugs would find him out anyhow, and instead makes one handseal to create a large array of flaming demon heads in all directions. Mystogan then commands the flames to float towards the bugs, incinerating them as Mystogan expels a thick mist from his mouth, under his cloth mask. The mist, begining from Mystogan and exanding outwards, creates a barrier which blocks out vision and appears to only be the steam expanding, refusing to dissipate, as well as effectivly making all the air in the field filled with Mystogan's chakra, in attempts to confuse the man's bugs while making sure the man himself can't find him as well. Then, moving near silently, Mystogan moves throughout the mist, keeping track of the location of the man and his bugs with his barrier, to move himself to the right of where he was originally, to avoid any blindly thrown direct attacks. Then, concealed in the mist, Mystogan focuses raiton chakra into his hand and throws out a large swarm of senbon, aimed at and around the man in a large cloud formation to discourage moving quickly upwards or to the sides in order to avoid the strike.

It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

(Raiton: Chidori Senbon) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Needle

I've been fretting over my counter to the bugs for a short bit... I came to the conclusion that it was either this, or Wind Release: Peacock Whirlwind Formation to push them away after being taken upwards slightly... Can you give your opinion on what would have happened in either case; which move would have been better?

Description: This technique utilizes wind chakra into the users sword and then they release a vortex of wind that surrounds the users body and can push away materials covering the users body.

I like your defense way better. If you were to push them away with the wind, you would scatter them, but not kill them. They would eventually come back and try and attack you again. So burning them is the best idea. Also petrification works if they are in a "bog" as they touch each other, and the petrification would ensue to all of them. Good use of the Hidden Mist/ Senbon combo, but the mist is easily counterable in the way that you created it. "Mystogan expels a thick mist from his mouth."

As Torune sees the strange fog try and spread, knowing well that his bugs were incenerated and that he will lose the opponent, he slaps both hands onto the ground, causing the earth around you to overturn and encase you in a dome. He then places his hand onto the dome, which then absorbe the chakra within it, the mist and your owns, causing the mist to dissapate.

Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user overturns the earth, causing it to rise up around his opponent(s). Then, by placing his/her hands against the dome, the user is able to drain out the chakra from the people trapped inside and absorb it into their own body. At the same time, the user will use their own chakra to spread throughout the dome. This allows the user to repair any damage their opponent(s) manage to inflict on the inside.

Just as you are trapped inside the dome, Torune stomps onto the floor, causing 3 pillars of fire to emerge in the dome and burn you.

With his barrier active, Mystogan is aware of the stones overturning themselves the moment they begin to move, and realizes the danger of what's happening. Should Mystogan allow the dome to fully erect, due to the nature of his barrier, he would no longer have any means to know where his opponent was, not to mention the side-effect of having his chakra drained, which Mystogan was not aware of. Keeping in mind that it would be easy to lose all "sight" of the man who he was fighting, Mystogan falls down to the ground quickly as the stones begin to overturn, quickly digging his way underground, covering the entrance to his hole about the time that the dome is completed. Left inside the dome is Mystogan's mist, which is comprised of his chakra and thus allows you to absorb a little bit of chakra before realizing that he's not in there (unless you believe that Mystogan "hitting the dirt" is a sign of him leaving). As Mystogan digs through the earth, his technique giving him an accurate "view" of what's on the surface of the ground, and therefore where the man is, Mystogan digs until he's mid-range behind the man (using the location of the dome and the man to determine where "behind" is), and then surfaces once more, his barrier expanding outwards and filling all the space up to mid-range of himself, once again allowing Mystogan to sense the man's presence. Mystogan then throws a kunai with a flashbomb attached into the ground mid-way between himself and the man. As the kunai is flying through the air, Mystogan calls,

Hoping to get the man's attention, and thus for him to turn around in time for the flashbomb to go off, Mystogan forms a single handseal as the flash from the flashbomb begins to fade, casting an illusion to throw the man's sight into darkness. Then, not wasting a moment, Mystogan reaches into his small, thrown weapons pouch (a pouch containing senbon, kunai, shuriken, etc.) with gloved hands, and throws a barrage of these weapons into the air before him, focusing chakra throughout each of the projectiles so that they hover in the air after being thrown. Then, Mystogan sweeps his arms forwards, sending each of the projectiles flying much faster than he could have ever thrown them out of his own sheer strength, straight towards the blinded and possibly slightly disoriented bug user across from him.

As the kunai with the flashbang starts to fly, Torune's bugs rise up and form a barrier behind him, before catching the flashbang and continuing towards you, surrounding you. They then engulf you. If the flashbang were to go off, it wouldn't blind Torune, as the bugs would render his sight.

As the Genjutsu sets in, Torune would know that it is in fact a Genjutsu, by several things. Firstly, he knows the technique that causes imeediately sight removal, due to using it several times and knowing it with familiarality. Secondly, the attack, flashbang (being another source of sight removal) never effected him, so that's out of the question. Thirdly, his sight was removed out of nowhere, without any other happenings. So figuring it is in fact a Genjutsu, he makes 1 handseal, causing the Genjutsu to dispel and regain sight.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

After casting the illusion, Mystogan decides that continuing with his planned projectile barrage would not be effective against this wall of bugs. Instead, after casting his opponent into darkness, Mystogan reached behind his back and pulled out of its hidden sheath the sword from his trident-like staff. Then, as the barrier began to surround him, Mystogan channeled his futon chakra throughout his body, creating a swirling vortex which sliced up all the bugs around him. Afterwards, Mystogan quickly replaced the blade in its sheath, clapping his hands into the snake handseal as soon as the blade was back (by moving both of his hands together so as to form the seal behind his head). After forming the seal, Mystogan reached into his weapons pouch as he emitted a bolt of lightning from his mouth towards his opponent. As soon as the lightning left his mouth, Mystogan threw six shuriken, three from each hand, and each with a thin ninja wire attached to them. Mystogan threw them so that three went far off to the left, and three went far off to the right, none of them flying anywhere close to the bug-user's direction. Then, by channeling his chakra through the wires after waiting for his lightning to be countered, Mystogan caused the shuriken to turn mid-flight and fly towards the man's back as a surprise attack.
