Saito Hajime[image in sig]

Saito kneels on the ground with his hands in his lap and his Katana laid out in front of himself drawn. He had applied chakra to the sharpened edge of the blade to blunt it making it no longer able to kill. since this was a training exercise he didnt want to risk killing a potential student.

(Shuuren Kiwa) Training Edge
Rank: E
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 5
Damage: 0
Description: This is a technique generally taught to aspiring swordsman and could be considered the opposite of using wind chakra to lengthen and sharpen a blade. Usually, a Swordmaster or other instructor would use their own chakra to create a small “U” shape around the edges or point of a weapon. The chakra acts as an invisible scabbard on the blade, allowing the students to spar without killing each other or wounding each other past minor bruises and aches caused by the blunt force of the “scabbard” blade making contact. The user activates this technique by extending their hand along a ridge and just letting a small amount of chakra out. This technique is very simple and quick.

Dodai:

Dodai calmy enters the Dojo and greets Saito with a bow. As he folds, his katanna was visible, showing he was a well versed swordsmanship. However, he wanted to refine his skills, so he requested a training session with Saito.

"We start now"

He staighten and begin to place his katanna on the ground (at his side). He had no patience to be treated as a trainee. As a shinobi, he learned the way of the sword in the academy.

He sternly looked a the sitting Saito, awaiting his teachings.

Saito grabbed his katana as his raise to his feet before placing both hands on the hilt. One hand rest under the guard while the other hand rests on the end of the hilt. Saito takes his stance sword positioned between him and his opponent angled at 45 degrees toward the opponent with the tip of the blade at eye height.

Come at me, Bro!

Saito speaks in a joking fashion as he waits on dodai's move.

I am not a stranger to this art of combat yet when confronting Saito I feel displaced. I have dueled many Samuria in my life time. However, this one was not like no other; Saito was remarkable. He dance across the room with grace. The patterns of his movements and his firm handling of the sword were mesmerizing that I have trouble concentrating on an opening to strike. Find the pattern, I thought while inspecting him, but his body language was showing none. He was not older or younger, which is usually what I come across on the battlefield. Their blades rattled by the sight of me and I knew then I had the advantage, but not Saito -- Saito and his sword were one being. How do you separate that?

Aftering clearing my head and calming myslef, without thinking I wildly charge Saito with my blade. I lunge forward delivering an horizontal slash to his left side and vertial cut to his stomach. Anticipating he would step backwards, I would follow up with a forward stab to his abdomen.

Saito notices Dodai rushing towards him wildly with a lateral swing. In one fluid movement, Saito makes a rising vertical swing of his sword to deflect Dodai's blade over his head while making a low roundhouse kick to Dodai's shin, tripping Dodai and causing him to lose balance and fall forward hitting his chin on the floor as Saito step aside.

Saito looks at the grounded Dodai before lecturing

Dont forget to pay attention to your footwork or the enemy can easily use your momentum against you. I deflected your katana upwards instead of the downwards to make sure you didnt impale yourself with your own blade. Now, get up and try again.

Saito waits for Dodai's next move.

Dodai felled to the floor embarrassed by his recent attacks.

"I must not be taking this seriously," he smiled as he rise to his feet. Then his face turned into a stern look at Saito; "I'll give you my best"

He dance around the small room, circling Saito until he was position behind his rear. Quickly, he step forward with a two-handed vertical slash, wounding his backside.

He dance around the small room, circling Saito until he was position behind his rear. Quickly, he step forward with a two-handed vertical slash, wounding his backside.
Saito allowed Dodai to position himself behind He wasnt sure as to what he was going to do, that is until he heard the familiar whistle in the wind as Dodai came down with his blade. In response Saito quickly position the blade laterally about his head while one hand reinforced the blade allowing Saito to successfully block the falling vertical strike as he held the position he partially turned his head and spoke to Dodai.

A strike from behind? You're definitely a ninja! No honor!

Saito then pushed Dodai off his blade before he dipped low and pivoted on his left foot while releasing a low sweep of his sword to sweep Dodai off his feet on his back all in one fluid motion. Saito then casually walked about the dojo while tapping his sword on his Trapezius muscles.

Just think of the sword as an extension of your arm. The more in tune you are with your Katana the better control you will have with it. soon your movements with be fluid and with no thought. But right now, i can tell that you are thinking of the next thing you are going to do as i speak to you.

Saito then turned to Dodai and then took the stance that he had taken before.

I will show you my way of the Samurai, My Bushido!

As he stated then he spiked his chakra to levels higher than before. Saito face was stern but at the same time it was still calm. The chakra that blunted his sword had now vanished and his blade shined the reflection the sun rays stretching inside of the dojo. His chakra also coated his garb like armor. This is the true power of Saito Hajime, The Shogun of the land of Iron.

I will show you why my Alias was the Lone Wolf of the land of Iron before I became Shogun.
( Bushidō ) - Way of the Samurai
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40 ( -10 per turn )
Damage: +30 to Kenjutsu and Kenjutsu
Description: Samurai quickly learned that Ninjutsu would be a very dangerous weapon, and an incredibly difficult one to combat. But, they soon developed a countermeasure that helped them combat the ever-growing amount of Ninjutsu users: infusing their armor with their own chakra. By releasing their chakra into their armor, Samurai infuse their armor with special properties, protecting against energy based attacks up to 30 damage, and physical jutsu of 40 damage and lower. This works by creating an invisible overshield of chakra around the Samurai’s body, using their chakra to augment their armor to help protect them. Due to the spiritual nature of this technique, harmonizing the Samurai’s life energies with their armor, and bringing the user’s Bushidō to the forefront of their mind, preventing Genjutsu of up to A rank from targeting them. This increase of chakra also augments their physical prowess, doubling their speed and granting a large increase to Kenjutsu and Samurai jutsu. However, upon ending, the Samurai is unable to use Iado and S rank and higher Samurai jutsu that turn and next due to fatigue as well as only two jutsu the turn it ends.
Note: This jutsu lasts 5 turns each use and is capable of being used 3 times.
Note: Only usable by Samurai.

Seeing the opponent leap into the air to avoid the leg sweep, Saito returns standing tall about his feet. In response to the opponent trying to drill his sword down, Saito took his stance while sheathing his blade before quickdrawing his blade extremely fast in a lateral motion to parry the opponent's sword out of the way before making another swing to strike the opponent at his side before he could recover.
(Iaidō) - Art of Quick Draw and re-sheathing the sword
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: Iaidō is a form of kenjutsu where the user quick draws the blade extremely fast to strike, then re-sheathing it. This method prevents enemies from using hand seals, thus preventing them from using Ninjutsu making it highly effective against enemy ninja. General Mifune of the Land of Iron is a master of this style, making him highly effective against even ninja of caliber of Sasuke Uchiha and Hanzō the Salamander. (The speed of the technique is equivilant to that of the rank of the user)
Note: Can only be used by Samurai biographies
