"Even children can't escape the wrath of Jashin."As he smiles he reaches into his cloak and grabs a steel black pike and pierces his hand with it."The Gods shall punish those who don't believe."He takes his right foot and draws a diagram consisted of a triangle inside of a circle from the residual blood from his wound. Once this was done Hidan focused his chakra into his hands and then thrusts his palm into the ground causing a shockwave of Raiton to rush towards Carl.

"Raiton..? You're a little antsy, too bad that'll be your downfall" Carl says confidently. He weaves through several handseals, he then extends his index finger and releases a blast of Wind at the impeding electric current, "You'll have to do more than that to beat me...."

"You shouldn't be so full of yourself boy!" Hidan takes his scythe from his back and jumps up 5 meters into the air before creating two clones to the right and left of himself. They both land on tree branches around Carl while the real Hidan attempts a downward slash with his scythe.

Carl looks up only to see Hidan coming down on him, and fast, "Such a linear attack...not smart". Carl then performs various handseals, and spits a large and concentrated shield of water. Afterwards, he jumps back, and examines the enemy, "You like to engage in CQC, my guess is it's your forte, right?" thinking he has his opponent figured out, he smirks with a confident smile forming more handseals, a large gust of wind rises, a thick cloud of smoke and debris flies everywhere, Carl dashes out with a explosive kunai in hand, he impales Hidan's left leg, then effectively jumps away.

Hidan wipes one if his eyes clean in time to see the kunai lodged into his leg."....Gah!" He rips it out and attempts to throw it back at Carl but it explodes almost immediately from being throw knocking Hidan back a few feet."You're gonna reget that!"He begins to weave handseals Tiger → Snake → Dog and fires off an electric current from his hands at Carl as one of the aforementioned clones jumps at him from behind and the other from above.

He's actually not bad, I guess that's obvious for a Kirgakure-Nin, Carl sees the attack coming his way, then he glances back only to see the clone coming down on him. Heh, in a pickle, I got it though, Carl makes a handseal and a huge gust of wind blows rocks and everything up. While Hidan's clone is preoccupied, Carl then focuses on the attack itself. He clasps his hands creating a strong gust of wind negating the lightning, and it blows the original back. While the wind is going on, he throws his Katana in current, aiming for his heart. "It was fun, Hidan"

This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Hidan digs his scythe into the ground to prevent being blown away before he turns and sees Carl's katana coming towards him"Tch you heathens are all the same."He allows the katana to go through his chest and he laughs "You thought such an attack would work on me? Wrong move fool!" Once the wind dies down Hidan dashes towards Carl as his scythe trails not far behind on the attached cable and weaves a few handsigns that causes an aura of electricity to appear around himself before taking the Katana from his chest and throwing it towards Carl purposefully just barely missing his head to distract him.He then closes in and engages Carl in taijutsu.

Damn, he's pretty fast, as Hidan advances toward Carl, he crosses his arms together to form an "X", as he does that, he creates a spinning wall of concentrated wind chakra. Only meaning to stall Hidan temporarily, Carl jumps in the air, and blows himself backward. He moves far enough so he's a good six meters away, he lands on a tree nearby. "Almost got me there bud," he snears, then he spits out a large, and thick amount of mist, covering the battlefield. "Let's play a game of hide and seek, shall we?"

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

Hidan throws two kunai with paperbombs attached at the tree where he last saw Carl before getting into a fighting stance and smirking as his aformentioned ligthing strike armor continues to shine

Kunai? Easily avoided, Carl jumps from the branch and lands on the ground softly, looking at Hidan, a profound smirk makes it's way across his face. "I'll finish this," looking straight into his eyes, after weaving five handseals, Carl turns into a flutter of petals, suddenly surrounding Hidan. In reality, he then quickly takes out a kunai and spews wind on the blade. Making it even more dangerous, Carl dashes at Hidan with full speed, he then slashes his neck diagnally, decapitating him. Kicking away his head far from his body, he places three explosive tags on his leg, shoulder, and stomach, jumping away while they activate.
