Ling Yao biography

I'll be wearing that outfit and the katana shown on it is sheated into it's scabbard on the left side of my waist and I'm also wearing Kazuya's standard gloves

As the night falls Ling is found standing infront of a large factory located in the southern region of the Lighting Country, observing the exterior for a moment Ling decides to enter and meet with Jin Kazama, a man whom he had already beaten in a past showdown but wished for a rematch. casually resting his left hand upon the handle of his sheated katana Ling takes a breath of fresh air as he proceeds with entering the factory.
Inside the factory Ling lays eyes upon Jin Kazama, who, although not as strong as he thought he was during their first match looks as impressive as always. Ling's eyes widened slightly and a grin was formed across his face as he greeted Jin with a friendly wave.
"Jin! it's been a while, I hope you're prepared for me this time"
Ling released a soft chuckle as he finishes speaking and lowers his left hand across the scabbard on his left as he removes it from his belt, laying it down onto the ground by his feet.
"I won't be needing that in a fight, let's keep it fair huh?"
Ling proceeds by reaching into the inside of his black trenchcoat and withdraws from them two red fingerless gauntlets, which formerly belonged to a man named Kazuya Mishima and as he puts them on he holds up both of his hands so that Jin can take a good look at them.
"Jin, you recognize these right? I got them from a-.. "friend" of yours, but enough with the chit-chat, let's do this!"
Ling chuckled once again as he began to prepare his stance. He first extends his left arm towards you with the palm open and does the same with his right arm, however his right elbow is slightly bent so that his right hand is alligned to his left elbow. He then bends through his right knee and slides his right foot forward a little followed by sliding forward his left leg, which unlike his right leg is fully stretched in an angle of about 45 degrees

Jin begins to notice his opponent to lower his sword on the ground. He begins to get a slight smile on his face.

As Ling raises his hands to make jin notice the gloves, He begins to get a slightly shocked expression on his face, but regains his serious expression. He begins to stop crossing his arms, he begins to have his hand on his waist, and then swings his head back, giving a signal to Ling to attack him, and gets into a Zenkutsu dachi stance. to explain the stance, This is a long frontal stance where the weight is mostly on the front leg. It has exactly the same height as shiko-dachi, but the rear leg is completely straight at the knee and extended back. The front foot is placed frontal (toes facing forward), the rear foot is turned out 30 degrees, but never 90 degrees as seems natural to new practitioners because this precludes any forward motion. The heel of the rear foot rests on the ground. Zenkutsu-dachi is one of the most common stances in kata.

At the same time as he pushes his body forward he rotates on his left leg, rotating his entire body around 90 degrees in a counter-clockwise manner while also bringing forward his right arm completely extended with his finger tips also extended, sending a strike towards your throat. The bottom of Ling's right foot is positioned against the right side of his left knee with his right knee pointed towards you.​

He then begins to bend his knee in a crouching position and swings his left hand as a fist towards your abdomen, performing a corpse thrust on you.

"Ling Xiaoyu? ..Isn't that your annoying girlfriend?"

As Ling said that he chuckled softly while he performed his initial attack, however as Ling notices your body turning to the left he quickly shifts his eyes towards you, not losing sight of you and proceeds by rotating his extended palm for 90 degrees in a counter-clockwise direction as he retracts his fingers forming a fist. As Ling does so he sets down his right foot and slightly bends the knee while rotating his upper body towards you, sending a backhand strike towards your jaw with his right fist. However, acknowledging your combat prowess Ling decides to not take any risk and as the backhand is headed towards you, the moment it would connect Ling leaps off his right leg, jumping sideways and ends up about two meters away from you.
Ling then lays his eyes upon you and notices you in a crouched down position, still unscathed which results in Ling forming a grin across his face which clearly shows he enjoys the battle so far.

"So-.. you did improve huh? Lemme guess, your girlfriend taught you, she was always a better fighter than you"

Ling shrugs his shoulders while shaking his head with a smile across his face in a joking manner and then proceeds by preparing a different fighting stance.
Ling slides his left foot across the floor while rotating his right foot untill the left side of his body faces you. He then proceeds to bend through his right knee and as he does so he slides his left foot forward, his knee is almost completely bent and his left leg is in an angle of about 20 degrees from the ground. He then bends his upper body towards you, alligning it in a 90 degrees angle to his left leg. Ling then positions his right fist next to the right side of his body with the elbow pointed outward and extends his left arm, motioning you to attack him with his hand. Ling then places his lower left arm across the lower part of his chest, alligning it to his left leg with his palm facing backward.

I would say she would be my annoying stalker then girlfriend.

Noticing you jump two meters away from him, Jin begins to cross his arms again, and watches as you get on your stance. He begins to notice a sword next to him, but ignores it.

More likely, she tried to stop me from training. I guess she taught me how to be ''safe'', or atleast, tried to.

As you finished he begins to stop crossing his arms again, and then turns to the left. He then begins to swing his right arm to the right while holding it with his left hand, and then swing his left arm to the left, while holding it with his right hand. He begins to lift his right knee up, and have it between his hands. Finishing this, he begins to take on a normal traditional karate stance, By start by having both of his hands infront of him, left a little forward then right, having holding them as fists. also having both of his feets standing, The front foot is placed frontal (toes facing forward), the rear foot is turned out 30 degrees. he has his rear leg completely straight at the knee and extended back. Finishing getting on his fighting stance, he begins to suddenly speak.

...Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou.

He now begins to get off his fighting stance, and runs at you with all his speed. Assuming that your on a crouching-like position, he bends his knees down, getting in a crouching position and swings his left leg, aiming towards your legs, trying to get you off balance.​
