I shall be using "Ace" in sig. This shall be his final fight, even if I don't pass the Kisame test, so let's make this fun.

Gildarts stands, cross-armed, glaring across the field at the old man with long, white hair.
Gildarts: I hear you're a powerful man... Let us test that rumor!

"Gildarts, I have heard alot of positive things about you as well."

"Since I already what you're capable off, let's make this fun ehh?"


First, I insert my hands into my pocket and rapidly pull out two explosively tagged kunai's as I do so I clap my hands instantaneously to compress my wind chakra and transform it into a threatening gale, as soon as I do this, I quickly hurl the ET Kunai's aimlessly and then manipulate the gale to propel the Kunai's into your direction.

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

As Gildarts watches the man across from him form a gale which carries two kunai, he closes his eyes. Channelling his chakra, lightning springs forth from his skin, covering his whole body, but not for long. As soon as the lightning coat was formed around him, Gildarts released the energy towards the wind gale, canceling the wind and setting off the explosive tags prematurely. Then, as a cloud of dust is settling from the explosive tags, and the vision between Gildarts and the man slightly clears, Gildarts casts an illusion that causes his opponent to see two clones of Gildarts climb out of the ground and quickly run towards the man, almost as if they were formed in the dust, and then lay on the ground to avoid immediate detection. Then, Gildarts sends chakra into the earth to keep track of his opponent, never letting him out of his perception. Throughout his whole move, Gildarts never once uncrossed his arms.

The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.

I begin to sense I'm trapped within a genjutsu, due to the instantaneous change that occurred in the surrounding environment, so I follow by pinching myself forcefully thus allowing me to escape, once I'm released, I retract back from my original position to slightly distant mid range and channel my fuuton chakra through the whole of my body, once finished I expel it as huge blast, which overwhelms the nature around us and heads towards you. however I adjust it's power by using precise chakra control to 40 damage instead of the regular 60.

As the wind obviously comes towards Gildarts, tearing up the ground between him and his opponent, churning up dust, etc. Gildarts stomps on the ground, sending flame up a few meters in front of him in the form of three pillars, created in a V-formation in order to take the blunt of the wind, and any wind not caught by the flames would be too far out to harm Gildarts anyhow. Then, Gildarts turns his right foot, the same foot which he stomped with, and sent a barrage of earth chunks through the still-burning pillars of fire which block Gildarts' opponent's vision of him, igniting the rocks and giving them explosive properties. Following the explosive rocks, Gildarts releases a barrier of chakra up to mid-range in all directions, allowing him to sense everything within mid-range of himself, and all things in contact with, or under the ground in conjunction with his previous technique. Still, Gildarts has not once uncrossed his arms.
Be warned, that I'm prepared for anything you may have prepared for me; give me your worst. But be warned; should I be forced to uncross my arms, you'll regret it...

As I see minor hints of a barrage of rocks heading towards my direction, I initiate my counter by releasing lightning chakra to form a spherical coat which covers all of my body and give it defensive properties. This plasma barrier then deflects off the rocks, thus keeping me safe, I then dispel this barrier upon use by releasing an extensive amount of fuuton chakra, as it dissipates the barrier, it carries on towards Gildart's direction with the same pace and power.

As the large current of wind travels directly towards Gildarts, he builds up suiton chakra and expells it from his mouth, creating a large barrier which easily intercepts the wind and nuetralizes it.
Is that all you've got, child? I thought you came here to defeat me!
Gildarts then begins to channel his natural affinity, doton, into the ground, creating a large shuriken of earth which then flies of its own accord towards the man opposite him. Then, as the man becomes preoccupied with the shuriken, Gildarts channels a great amount of suiton chakra far above his head, which then rains down upon the man like a powerful shower of water which cuts like knives. Gildarts then tapped his left bicep with his right index finger impatiently, his arms remaining crossed and never having been uncrossed throughout the entire battle.

Seeing you forging a large earth shuriken, I gather my lightning chakra and channel it towards my right foot. As the lightning engulfs the area of my foot, I slam the ground making a strong blast which pumps me high in the air, effectively avoiding contact by your large shuriken and charge in your direction simultaneously. As I remain in the air, I gather oil in my mouth and spit it in your direction, it's effects allow me to restrain your movements fully. Whilst you are in this state, I instantaneously shoot three bullets of fire, which upon contact erupt into a geyser of flames, this is amplified due to you already being covered with a thick layer of oil. As I am finished, I land back on the ground with minor scratches.

As the oil begins flying through the air towards Gildarts, he simply stands on the field, arms crossed, staring up towards his opponent. As the oil washes over him, Gildarts closes his eyes, sensing in his vicinity three large shapes, whose exact shapes continually fluxuate, showing to Gildarts that they are not solid. As the oil finishes washing over Gidlarts, he opens his eyes to the light and heat of three fireballs, to which he calmly responds with four spears of water from the palm of his right hand, crossed under his left arm and facing his opponent in the air. The spears then each pierces through a ball of fire, with the fourth spear continuing towards the man high in the air. As that man defended against the water spear and began his descent, Gildarts cast an illusion into the air, causing the man to believe he has fallen into a large flower bud. As the area goes dark, with the man "trapped in a flower bud", the bud appears to explode, placing great pressure and stress on his mind as it attempts to simulate the feeling of death. As the bud explodes in the illusion, Gildarts has created several balls of lightning which then encircle the area, and zap the man just as he's about to land on the ground whilst trapped in the illusion.
What's the oil for, kid? To stop me from moving? Did it look like I was running around before!?
