Upon seeing his sparring partner arrive, Afro bows his head in respect. He doesn't take his eye off his opponent though. Being the silent type, he gets right to business. Afro slowly unsheathes his Katana from the sheath on the left side of his waist with his right hand causing a slow screeching sound. Usually I fight using the double handed grip style, but today I feel like switching it up.

Afro reaches and grabs his red wooden sheath with his left hand. Shall we begin? Afro then dashes toward Ludger in a zig zag pattern with great speed. Upon entering short range Afro raises his sheathe and sword up so that they cross and form an "X". Once hes in CQC range, Afro brings his weapons down simultaneously in diagonal motions toward Ludger's sword in order to knock them out of his grip. Once the swords are out of Ludger's grip Afro transitions into delivering a right knee to the bottom of Ludger's chin knocking him backwards.

Focusing on Afros’ movements, it was clear that he was trying to confuse Ludger with his movements and so readies himself for Afro’s attack. Upon seeing Afro raise his sheathe and sword, Ludger intercepts his move by tightening his sword grip and blocking his attacking, holding out his dual blades in an X-shape, tips pointing diagonally. With the blade in his right hand placed on top of the left, his body leaning back slightly, his left leg placed up front and knee bent, and his right foot positioned behind his left so that he doesn’t lose his balance and fall backward from the impact of Afros’ swing. Ludger then proceeds to push Afro back. Without delay, Ludger falls on his back and rolls backward and to right side to evade Afro’s knee strike while also getting a clear view of his opponent.
