Big question, can a clone betray his/her original???

in boruto anime, an episode where they are to deliver post cards, the clones complain about boruto's treatment, said they cannot go a far distance and disappear by themselves.. this bring us to the question, if they can control their own thoughts, can they betray the original if they feel he/she is doing wrong?

I think it was stated that all of clones are exactly the same as their original (their mind , feelings , physics , etc )

While that's true, there seems to be some fundamental changes to the kagebushin since Naruto. Naruto's kagebushin took a ****ton of damage since Naruto basically used them as beatsticks, but they never once complained. Maybe it is just because Naruto didn't mind being hurt, and Boruto does. But if they're exactly the same, wouldn't they not complain to Boruto and just obey because they are thinking toward the same goal? Either way, this is the first time that we see Kagebushin have different personalities. Because Boruto created clones to help him brainstorm. If they are the same, he wouldn't need them. Which is why I feel the kagebushin have changed since the Naruto series.
