It doesnt work.

If you try to learn something with 1000 clones, than they all start to train something with the same experience and progress.
They wont have gained each others experience, until dispersion.

For example, you are lvl 1 with a jutsu, like rasengan (lvl 1 as in unable to use it yet) and lvl 5 would be the highest and would equal mastery of the technique.

If you start with 1000 clones, they will all start as lvl 1.

If the first clone tries the training for the first time, the second clone wont do it any better if he tries it for the first time as well and number thousand will perform it just as well as number one.

He will do it on the same lvl as the first clone.
He wont have the experience of the first clone and will probably make the same mistakes as the first clone, unless you disperse the first clone first.

However that would make the whole training pointless, because the other clones would have to wait and the only way one could speed things up, is with multiple clones, doing a training, at the same time.

So the whole training method that is suppose to help speed up training, is a big fail. It mainly exhausts you.
Obivously the original will be better after he disperses all the clones than before he disperses them, but it wont be by much and you get the exhaustion on top of it.

How could the training actually work?
If the clones all do something different at the same time.

For example (just naming random trainings), you want to train and you make one clone do taijutsu, another one shuriken practice, another one water walk training, another one genjutsu etc.

Dumbass... It's a ****ing manga... Did you know that people also can't make clones appear out of thin air by ****ing with your hands, and saying "Kage bunshin no jutsu!"?

Really, it doesn't work.

It's an anime. Don't question it.

I am not bringing real life into it.
The method they mention in the manga/anime, doesnt work by the manga/anime rules.

No need to swear.

That's why Naruto released his clones several times after gaining enough experience with them.
