Curiosity and Surprise got the best of Sasuke, He could of blitzed the kid but him having the same eyes probably stopped that. Naruto not noticing Sarada and Chouchou is merely the plot at work. He won't notice them because it's obvious they need to follow him.

The thing is, the kid is 3T. Sasuke is Rinnegan almost demi-god level. Even if he was surprised, he still could have caught the kid because of sheer power. He can cover gaps like being astonished to see another uchiha. I think its another plot protection for white zetsu with sharingan eyes.
