funny thing is there is no evidence of the 3rd in his prime. and people are forgetting we dont even know much about the forth much less and he didnt even live to be in his prime. Never the less i would still hail the forth above the 3rd.

I agree with you. However, I don't believe there is any mention of the exact (or approximate) time when he was given the title "Professor". It doesn't give any reference to time-frame other than using past tense. Oro could have been referring to the day, week, month, year, decade, or half century prior to that moment. All we know is it was sometime in the past.

I'm simply saying it was possible that he knew FTG based on oro's statement in the manga.

i do agree that the 1st has to be the strongest as he was in his prime when he died. The 4th not even yet in his prime was praised and hailed by many as the strongest. the 3rd was called the professor and god of all shinobi. the 2nd there isnt much known about him either
in fact we dont know anything about the other hokages other than the 5th. We seen alot from the 3rd but dont know how he was in his "prime" we seen some thing with minato yet we dont even know his affinity. and we heard alot about the 1st but we havnt quiet seen it with our own eyes
there is still much to be learnt before we can actually specify who is the strongest
only the 3rd & 5th have stats...your still not making any point? what is your point other than your bias opinion? besides the data book needs to be updated because im pretty sure naruto stats has greatly improved so as saskue and many other characters

AGAIN - I will ask you. Did KISHI say they are the best directly? Everything you provided seems as if he was reiterating what characters have said.

Not one direct statement. I don;t see where you get, "Kishi says ____".
There are quotes around his titles. Kishi uses the words, "called" and "admired as".
Unless, you think Kishi calls the 3rd these things when he is addressing him.
To which, if you say yes, I shake my head. :shrug:

its quote from characters like iruka. not kishi last i check you cant believe every character. cause i can just say like shikamaru father i think his name is shakuku or something like that says. past legends were always exaggerated. I can say the third in his prime was exaggerated by iruka to the kids sitting down?
if we believed every character we would still be saying tobi is madara. Or ay sakura is useful.

Um. Saying so what? I am asking you for a direct statement from Kishi that Hiruzen is the best - Those databook points are CLEARLY reiterating what characters have said.
So I don't understand your trump card you've been using.
As for the manga, tough luck. Hashirama was compared to The sage.
Hiruzen was admired by a fanboy, complimented by a rebelious student who was TRYING to piss him off, and hyped by Kabuto's stats. Now we see Hashirama is the best.
Unless you have some feat from Hiruzen's prime?
