The hand marks dont matter that much. Naruto KM had them on his feet. The pictures of Minato KM dont show it on his feet (might be due to distance), but on the hands. Naruto has Yang KM, Minato Ying KM (might be tad different).
Minato lacks all kind of black parts on the belly, arms, cloak and holes in the cloak.
He doesnt have the circle on the belly either that bm naruto has.

Minato has a KM form.

The KM is more stable, as if you control the chakra and have won over it. How did Minato do that in such short time? Seems ridicules. He didnt had to pull it away from Kurama like Naruto did in a tug of war. He took the chakra from Kurama back when Naruto was a kid.
He just had it stored in himself (minato), just like Naruto had it stored in himself after the tug of war.

Either this, or he did the tug of war for the chakra at some point.

Kishi showing minato looking just like naruto was not by chance or error, there is more to this technique I believe. Minato is making use of kuramas chakra, maybe that chakra which he sealed within him. But as the ultimate container of that chakra is Naruto - I believe that is causing Minato to look just like Naruto - even facial features like a clone/duplicate.

This, or they just look similar due to being father and son (Minato's hair around his cheeks and ears could have flown up with the chakra), giving them a similar hairstyle appearance. Clothes are still his own. Faces are quite similar.

It's KM... but it is also the other half of the seal... Naruto has 1 half and Minato has the other. If you put the both halfs together you get the full formula and a body full of markings.

-Kyuubi Chakra Mode = Normal eye (Only Discolored)
-Bijuu Mode = User with Kurama's eyes
Conclusion: Minato has his own eyes, meaning he is only in Kyuubi Chakra Mode

Well said. They are not completely the same because they are both parts of the KM form. Yang KM and Ying KM.
