Clearing up a Sasuke vs Itachi misconception

*Bracing for incoming troll posts* Anyway, most people say that Hebi Sasuke is stronger than Itachi because Itachi died during their fight. Now, I know that the people who think that this is real and that this post probably has no meaning, but I'm making it anyway.

If you look at the fight, Sasuke and Itachi seem to be on equal footing, with both taking the advantage from time to time. This is only because of three main factors
1. Itachi was going blind
2. Itachi was dying
3. Itachi had 0 killing intent and Sasuke had as much killing intent as freddy krueger

If you look at the fight, there are two blatant opportunities where Itachi could've killed Sasuke, and many more that I won't bother going into

Amaterasu instantly ignites what the user is looking at, while it is dodgeable, the idea that Hebi Sasuke can outrun Itachi's vision is ridiculous. Not like Itachi could look in front of Sasuke or anything. Only reason Itachi didn't instantly cook sasuke was because he wanted the perfect shot that would force Sasuke to use chakra but not cause any lasting damage.

What's stopping Itachi from using totsuka blade on sasuke right now? The fact that he wanted to savor the victory? Please. Itachi needed to get close enough to Sasuke to put the Amaterasu trap inside him:

3. Outside of their fight
Sick Itachi pushed Sasuke to the very limit without trying to kill him. A healthy Itachi with killing intent would annihilate Sasuke, says common sense. I shouldn't have to explain that

Yes, I know that most people don't believe that Hebi Sasuke is stronger than Itachi, but I do see a lot of posts saying the opposite

Itachi could have continued sitting there and just thrown a shuriken at Sasuke's head to end it. We all know that. Sasuke didn't surpass his bro until he achieved EMS stage. U_U
