Hi everyone,
I received a very interesting message from a member of this forum that is not known. He was a bit offended about a post i made about Kaguya.
Sometimes, when we write, the view we apply to things are based on cultural aspects that conditioned our criticism, on some other cases we complain about lack of character build up and how they appear out of nowhere.
Summing up..
This member told me that in Japan and for the Japanese the fact Kishimoto Sensei included Kaguya as the final villain of Naruto was highly accepted because Kaguya is a mythological character from the 10th century, one of the oldest legends that are part of the Japanese culture.
So basically Kaguya was found inside a shining stalk of bamboo by a bamboo cutter and it was revealed that she was actually a moon princess, the fact Kaguya is an alien in Japan is not a surprise.
The legend was known to me, i made a thread once regarding this, but it never occured to me that in Japan she was highly and happily accepted as the final villain.
Thank you "Slop".
