First and foremost, I'd like to greet everyone before I begin, so.. hello!
__
After visiting the Water List quite frequently, I have noticed that it is very cluttered with techniques that most people don't have access to. I would like to make a suggestion to move those techniques to their appropriate sections, or perhaps a more appropriate place. I think that not only will the list look a lot cleaner and easier to read and navigate through, but it will also make it easier for teachers like Senpai/Sensei to go about their training sessions. Sure, it's not bad at all to read through and ignore those techniques, but I think it would look a lot better and organized. I have checked the "Special Techniques" sub-section of the Jutsu List, and there are several other groups that have less techniques than the ones I will be mentioning above, so I think it is totally possible!
The techniques I am most concerned about would be Kisame, he has roughly 17 techniques just on his own, and the Hozuki/Suigetsu have about 9-10. Now if you sit back and see, those are quite a few. Again, you can just scroll and ignore them right? Well it would still look nice and clean if they were moved! We could go to an extreme and also move other character specifics like Tobirama (Who already has a section in the Miscellaneous Character Bound section), Yagura, Hyuga (The have a single C rank one so it should be okay to leave it.) and the Second Mizukage, could also be added.
Here is a list of the techniques I've mentioned, at least the Kisame & Hozuki/Suigetsu ones. I'm only posting it to show just truly how many are cluttering the list, I knew there were a few, but looking at them all together makes it an eye opener xD
Kisame
Hozuki/Suigetsu/Second Mizukage
Now you may ask yourself, why just water and not the other lists that also have character-bound elemental techniques? Well with favoritism aside, I think the water list has a larger amount of character/clan specific techniques than opposed to the other elemental affinities. If there is any way I could help, I would be more than glad to also clean up the other elemental lists as well, I just thought the water one was very cluttered.
____
Now onto my second suggestion!!
Thoughts? ^_^

Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40 (+ 10 each time clone is reformed)
Damage points: 80
Description: The Second Mizukage creates a clone made from the oil and water in his body. The water in the clone is surrounded by a thin layer of oil that resembles a chibi version of himself once completed. Due to its structure, the clone's temperature can easily be altered to cold or hot. When it exerts itself the outer layer of oil heats up and evaporates the water inside. As the internal pressure builds, the clone expands until it explodes and the water vapour is released. This vapour then cools down as it rises and as a result, turns into hail which cools the clone, causing it to shrink to its original size and start the entire process again. Despite its size, the clone itself remains very fast throughout the technique, which not only allows it to heat up very quickly but also inflict damage using an axe-like liquid blade that forms on one of its arms. However, using this technique leaves the Mizukage in a very weak and vulnerable state.

The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like state. As this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques. The Second Mizukage when using this technique has a more oily state allowing it to into Gaara's sand element and nullify the techniques. (this oily ability can only be used by the Second Mizukage).
Note: Can only be used by members of the Hozuki Clan.
(Suiton: Jōki Bōi) - Water Release: Steaming Danger Tyranny Technique
Note: Can only be used by the second Mizukage and whilst in affect the user can only use A rank and below techniques and cannot maintain continous techniques of the same rank and above active after activation.
Now you may ask yourself, why just water and not the other lists that also have character-bound elemental techniques? Well with favoritism aside, I think the water list has a larger amount of character/clan specific techniques than opposed to the other elemental affinities. If there is any way I could help, I would be more than glad to also clean up the other elemental lists as well, I just thought the water one was very cluttered.
vvvvvv Another interesting suggestion! vvvvvv
I agree. Learning water the way I did, I remember my Sensei asking me to list all the techniques that composed the most basic method of water release. Basically projectiles. I remember posting a whole lot of techniques, for all ranks, but most of them were character bound. When my sensei gave the actual list, with just the techniques I could learn, they were about 5 and didn't even cover all the ranks.
When someone just browses over it, it's easy to think the Water element is well divided, with multiple different techniques for all the ranks, and it's a generally well balanced element. But when you look deeper into it, most of them are out of reach for the common roleplayer. Not just a matter of making the jutsu list of one of the 5 basic elements less cluttered, but also a way to put into light just how lacking, in diversity, the water element really is, when you take out all the non-bound techniques.
Though, on the other hand, I don't necessarily agree they should move to a different section all together. I think the Special Technique section is already too clustered, and it's almost a dump of every technique than isn't a basic skill, but there's has been so many of these that the number of jutsu inside the special section outnumbers the combined jutsu of all the other sections.
I think we should gather all the Basic Water jutsu in a different thread (or multiple different threads), and then create other threads for Water based special techniques, with threads for Hozuki, Kisame, Kiri, etc. When one opens the Water section, there's all of the Water-based techniques, Special and Basic, in a single place.
Leave the Special Techniques for special Ninjutsu, non Elemental KG and HA.
Edit: We can build a sort of task-force to organize all the techniques and shift the Jutsu Section. I don't mind volunteering![]()

Now onto my second suggestion!!
I wanted to suggest possibly increasing the rage of the water clone technique up to mid, before it disperses and loses control. I know in the anime/manga it was stated that the water clone couldn't travel too far away from it's creator before dispersing. However, I think for the roleplay short is very limited. Sure you could use stronger clone techniques, but I think the short range restriction makes it that much less usable in battle. Not impossible, but just more restricting, specially since there is at least one other water technique specifically created for the water clone technique. I'm not suggesting the ability to create the clone up to mid range from the user, but simply allow it to travel up to mid range without dispersing into water.(Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone
Rank: C
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.
Thoughts? ^_^
