Classic RPG vs Next-gen RPG

hellow, I want to ask gamers here about RPG games. Which one you like between classic or next gen RPG? Classic is an old style such as FF7, FF8, FF9, Crono cross, etc. next-gen RPG is a modern RPG such as FF13, Resonance of fate, FF12, FF13-2, etc. and your reason please...

Well I like them all but my personal favorite is Final fantasy 12

not even a close match up in my mind.

SNES- FF2, FF3, Chrono trigger, secret of mana, mystic quest(even though it was kinda like an intro to RPG it was still fun) zelda link to the past( zelda's have never been hard games, they have only be just fun. i mean really fun.) and Mario RPG

Playstation-FF7, FF8, FF9, FF anthology, FF chronicles, legend of mana, chrono cross, zenogears, star ocean. i mean it goes on and on.

N64- zelda the ocarina of time

Xbox- Marrowind

these are all "old school" i probly missed afew

these are still the best RPG's made today.

Hahaha.. Personally I like classics more, it has better soundtrack, story and many more...
Modern rpg lack in soundtrack. That's my opinion though...xd
