How you would use it in battle: I would use it to decrease the distance gap between me and my opponent so that I can strike lethal damage to them while under the effects of it. Well pretty much like a diversion as you said.
How you would counter it: I would place metal rods or kunai and katanas to try and control the direction that lightning would go to. Or change the terrain by increasing the level of the surface to where I am standing and make it higher so that the electric surge wouldn't affect me to where I am standing.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Mold chakra in my body and transfer most of it into my hand, well right hand this time and after that slam my hand to the ground and transfer raging lightning surging bolts to the enemy.

Simple enough technique, gather your lighting chakra in your hand then release it outright in the form of a wave of lighting bolts, do it however you want.

• 2. Hard to dodge if released at close range

• 2. Can easily propelled by most wind jutsus since its a jutsu that is wide.
• 3. Cannot hit an aware good wind user

How you would use it in battle: I would use it in a way that would test my opponent's strength so its a good jutsu to use to test the opponent's capabilites likes reflexes, reaction and agility.
How you would counter it: use a wide range wind jutsu since using metal rods or other things woundn't be effective since the jutsu is pretty wide range.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Mold my chakra and concentrate most of it into both my hands, after that clap both of my hands to unite the chakra from both my hands and that push my hands forward like I am using gentle fist avter that a huge wave of lightning bolts appear and launch towards the enemy.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Tiger → Snake → Dog the user creates an electric current from their hand that can hit multiple individuals at the same time. Furthermore, it extends into incredible distances and can avoid obstacles.

In short this technique all you need to do is perform the seals, then send your lighting chakra to your hand, which one you want doesn't matter. From that you will release it from your hand in the form of an electric current that can hit more then one person at a time.

How you would use it in battle: Use it as a jutsu to buy some time for allies to escape. Also a good jutsu to use on rocky environment where foes outnumbers you and your allies.
How you would counter it: Simply dodge it or use a a C rank doton jutsu to create a layer that would shield me and fend the attack.

Firstly I mold my chakra and concentrate it into the center of my body and then after enough chakra has been accumulated I transfer it from my center to my hands. While I do that I perform the required hand seals which are:- tiger -> snake -> dog. After that I then extend my hands forward and send the multiple lightning bolts to the enemy territory.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

A simple wave of lighting, can be used in two ways; either by using it as a surge to shock your intended target, and also get you out of low ranked genjutsu. Or a stream of lighting that can cut though no enhanced rock. This technique can also be used with a water technique to give you a added bonus damage.

How you would use it in battle: I would use it in battle as an offense jutsu to either get the opponent out of my range or use it to lure him to a specific location. Making the opponent go to a place that gives him less advantage like if opponent uses water based combos using it to drive him away to land is one of the useful things to do with this jutsu.
How you would counter it: I can think of 3 ways to counter it. First it would be to jump high in the air, high enough so that when you get down the electric surge would have passed away. Secondly, it would be to increase the distance from the enemy and I as quick as possible so that when the surge will reach me its heat and energy would have decreased thus causing its voltage lowered too. And Thirdly, simply get out the water and to land and if there is no land near well I'm f*cked.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Firstly I mold my chakra and concentrate it into the center of my body and then after enough chakra has been accumulated I transfer it from my center to my hands. After a few secs I then extend my hands downwards at the same time leaning forward and then release the wave of lightning bolts from the palms of my hands and then directing it with all my might to the intended target.

I mean if you were to measure a voltage of a jutsu using a voltemeter lets say a D-rank would measure maybe 240 volts and maybe a C -rank 340 volts and the voltage keeps on increasing the higher the rank level to S -rank. Is this a correct way to think how lightning jutsu ranks differ?

You are thinking to real life related. Doesn't work like that, the techniques merely get stronger and more chakra is needed to use them.

Kirin uses actually lighting from the sky. Chidori is still made with the users chakra.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.

Pretty much just send lighting chakra all around your body to form an armour of sorts, it can protect you against B-rank and below earth techniques, of suitable size. Kunais, and whatnot. But only one of these, also shocks your target if they are close enough to you, but that also counts as an attack.

I suppose there lies my answer no wonder Kirin is beast. This next jutsu is harder.. reminds me of Blanka from street fighter

How you would use it in battle: I would use it to protect my self from multiple attacks from many directions that come at once since the armor only works once. Also in situations where getting hit can mean certain death.
How you would counter it: Sensing physical objects like clones or hurl kunais can be the best options to counter this but for me I think also giving the electricity another simpler path to travel too can be another. Say you hurl giant waves of wind chakra that can also counter it since wind > lightning.

While doing this I expand it and make it flow through my body. With this I picture the lightning element nature the rage, free firmness and rampaging then I turn it into lightning chakra. Ofcourse this takes me a while to master. After a lot of practice From there lightning chakra appears all around my body and then I perform the technique..Lightning Strike Armour was it? its amazing sensei... I wonder if you can.. can you post 2 jutsus at once? *_*

Lol it should be I mean having an electric armour should take a toll on the user's chakra.. especially if you think that only beast level shinobis like 3rd and 4th Raikage were able to sustain the lightning cloak longer. Wait this jutsu was used by Raiga from the 7 ninja swordsman right? I suppose Raiga has more than avarage chakra level since he wielded those 2 lightning blades.

Btw Nathan, out of respect and not undermining the way you train me I would like to suggest though that how about teaching me 2 jutsus at once so that we can finish this a lot earlier then with one jutsu at a time?

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

This technique only works depending on the location, so perform the hand seals. And see that cliff over there, go stand on it. From that you will release a small shock of lighting that will dislodge a few rocks, and whatnot causing a landslide.

How you would use it in battle:
I would use it just at the start of the battle, where there is a good opportunity to test the enemy's defense capabilities. Also I would use it to prepare for a bigger jutsu than this one or to slow down an enemy. But since it depends too much on the environment I think its impossible to use in most cases.

How you would counter it:
I would use a jutsu that would eradicate the falling rocks completely, a charged lightning cannon would be enough or maybe a powerful fire jutsu would destroy the rocks.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
Firstly I go to the cliff Nathan-sesnei has told me to go to. After that I mold my chakra and concentrate it into the center of my body and then after enough chakra has been accumulated I transfer it from my center to my hands. Then I perform the seals: (Snake → Upside down Tiger ) and then I clap my hands together then I transfer the lightning bolts i have created to the rocks on the cliff. After that the rocks fall down and they come raining down... of course this kind of jutsu requires time to learn but with the assistance of Nathan sempai I learn it in the end...

So get one of your hands and raise it infront of you, similar to like that of a sword. Then send your lighting chakra into said hand until it starts to glow a pale like yellow. From that you will release lighting in the shape of a horn that will spread outwards and being able to attack more then one person.
