Foolish of you to think of me as the imposter i am the head of the nara, comander of the konoha army and amster tactician it is obvious you are to dumb to know that i know all about you zetsu, yes you and your ability to take on characteristics of others is well known. It is time to meet your maker. As shikaku uttered these words, he smirked quickly dropping a flashbang behind himself and formed the snake handseal and quickly touching the ground causing a portal to open up above the imposter droping a giant solid lid from above as the flash bang goes off blindening the imposter and increasing his own shadow, shikaku's hands off the earth quickly formed the rat handseal as he channeled chakra into his shadow now outstretched extending his shadow very easily into the huge shadow cast above the imposter because of the incoming lid, as we stand mid range the huge shadow of the lid and my shadow being slightly extended already, it only took a second for it to capture the imposter as the shadow flew by at speeds comparible to shuriken, as the imposter is held in place by the shadow the lid falls crushing him.
The true Shikaku would not fall prey to such techniques.

Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

Foolish you say, oh well Zetsu, you playing your role too serious and start acting like me, we both know who is the real Nara leader. Shikaku responding calmly.
But suddenly he sees his opponent dropping something behind himself, as a shadow expert, shikaku already familiar with all nara's move and trick, he knows that it is a Flash bomb and will try to blind him thus could expand one's shadow.

Shikaku smirk and knew what would it gonna be, so he bow his head down a bit while the flash bomb goes off, he quickly stomp his feet and the earth in front of him quickly raise till his head, covering his eye sight from the flash bomb effect. while doing that, Shikaku sees a giant shadow start to form around him, he know something dropped down from above, something big trying to crush him. Shikaku immediately moving his heads up but when he his head reached up and see a giant lid about to crush onto him, he suddenly can't move his body anymore. shikaku notice that his opponent merge his shadow with the lid shadow where the lid shadow also merge with Shikaku's shadow, by that condition, shikaku aware that his opponent have managed to bind Shikaku's shadow.

Meh... do you know who I'm. our gap level are far, I can feel this weak shadow bind and it can't hold my move too long. so with just a little effort, shikaku break off the shadow bind while gather lightning chakra in his mouth, and release a lightning spear toward the earth lid above where it almost crush his body, the earth lid it self destroyed into dust thus harmlessly to Shikaku.

The earth shield in front of Shikaku is disappear and they can freely see each other. You must be shocked that I can break your shadow so easily ? you are wondering right ?
Shikaku laughed when he watched his opponent confusing look. We can do this all day long if you wanted, but you will never be able to bind my shadow too long.

Then he waited his opponent's respond.

AS shikaku noticed his chakra shadow as no longer connected to the imposters he kenw something was wrong and his control over him had been gone. With this he places his hands in the ground noticing his lid had been destroyed, channeling his chakra underground he causes the ground around zetsu to lower quickly, most likely causing him to loose balance and making the situation more chaotic as he cant see me at this point as the wall still stands infront of us but i know he's their as i saw the attack that destroyed the lid and no movement to the right or left had been made.as the earth lowers to the destined 10m's, quickly forming 3 handseals shikaku causes a mudslide towards the lowered earth hitting the earth wall toppling it down into the lowered section along with enormous amounts of mud most likely burying and killing shikau as the mud is thick and the wall would due impact damage. Shikaku doesnt want to take any chances so he forms 3 handseals and tranforms the area above and surrounding the lowered earth into a swamp as the sticky mud flows inward into the lowered earth zetsu's demise is ensured.

That should be all shikaku said but remained keen.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
