Clarification

Is chakra recovered from time or actual rest and whatnot. Naruto and Sasuke have been out for almost a day and still have no bits of it returned to them, or else I'm sure they would atleast attempt a summon or something with their free hand, or activate healing abilities. Has there been any reveal within the manga to how it is restored?

i think due to the state they are in the chakra gathering ability has been put on a holt for now... conveniently for kishi to get in some major character development.

They haven't be out for almost a day. Probably a few hours at the most. There problem now isn't chakra, but physical injury preventing them from moving.

I get that one of their arms is gone, but tsunade was torn in half and she managed a summoning jutsu. I feel like at this point they should be able to do one hand. And I also just realized that if Naruto didn't get his arm back, which he does, he could just use a chakra arm, and Sasuke could just use a susano'o arm

If both of them use summon,
Naruto will summon the tadpole; during his ONE whole month still unable to do it.
Sasuke will summon the small snakes.
Chakra, required the physical energy, Tsunade said she need to eat a lot to recover.
