You missed the point. The point is the shinobi that were watching Hashirama and Madara battle later joined Naruto and helped him in defeating Obito. After they defeated obito they turned their attention to Madara. The translators might mess up the text but the pictures are the same, and the even without the text you can tell what's going on in the pictures.
Judging from your sig you're most likely a Madara fanboy, which is why you're having a hard time accepting Hashirama could still fight on par with Madara after all his powerups.

Hachibi was referring to Mokuton in general; Madara did not use wood dragon to restrain him, only Naruto. I also mentioned Yamato as well, who used Mokuton to suppress the chakra of Naruto and Kisame.

Also. I actually meant there are no others mokuton jutsu who could absorb anyway , at its the subject of the thread.

The only part who's partially true in your post is mokuton in general having restrictive ability ; doesn't mean a simple branch cannot be absorbed , or nullified (sucked of it chakra) as mokujin and wood dragons are entities and summons , simple branches and trees are not .

With a translation error of your scans Minato could have indicated something else too and as it was an off panel fight it could change everything . Mine proved Madara received help in this fight . Also , The fight did not have any screen time anyway, what does that even have to so with the thread ? Moukton is just earth and water,that is all,it will be absorbed. Wood dragon stopped preta from being activated,you cant use a jutsu when your chakra is being absorbed,it prevented preta from being activated,as preta is a ninjutsu too.
