Clarification please. Obito, Madara, and Sage of 6 Paths power

I'm a bit confused. Obito was using the black staff from when he was the Juubi's jinchurikki. How is that possible? at first, I assumed he took it from Madara, but in the latest chapter, Madara still has his own.

And I'm still confused (by both mangapanda and *********** translations) about what Madara meant when he said Obito used the power of the Sage that he supposedly took, or something like that?

From what I understand, Obito took some of the 6 Paths power from Madara when he pulled the Chakra from him? I'm assuming he's compatible with it from his time as the Juubi jinchurikki. But I feel as though I'm missing something still.

Obito got SM so he was able to pierce Maddy and took some of his Sage power, allowing him to form the staff. Being previoously a jin he can connect with the bijuus and pulled them out
