If it was really a symbol, Ashura's Chakra Avatar's head would of been facing Indra's and about the same size.

It looks like Ashura tried to jump up to reach Indra behind his Susano'o and formed his chakra Avatar which was only the size of the Susano'o's head.[SUB]

Ashura and Indra are about the same size so the scale should be as you say. that's kind of unbelievable though, that Indra's PS was so much bigger.

Strength isn't the only way the new can surpass the old. However I get what you're saying. I want Kishi to take away the Tailed Beasts, and the sage's power away from Naruto and let him get stronger though old fashioned training.

I agree, that was said many times in part 2 yet no one has surpassed madara and hashirama yet.
