As far as clans, how do you preserve bloodlines? Do both parents have to be of a certain clan to ensure a bloodtype? I would think that two seperate blood types (Kekkei genkai) would interfere with the other. Just curious... Enlighten me on this.

I believe there is a lot if intra clan breeding. But it's probably beyond 4th cousins or whatever so its not incest. Theres also the occasional outlier who marries outside of the clan, in which case dominant genes would probably determine the childs KKG.

This. Additionally, if a person within a clan marries someone from outside a clan who has no kkg, but has similar chakra nature types, it seems likely that they could still pass down their kkg.

i always thought that if that ever happened they would just get 1 of the kenkkei genkai from one of the parents. for example: Hinata has kids with choji or kiba, I thought that the child would either get Hinata's or kiba's or choji. idk thats what I thought
