This is something very interesting to me. The connection that other clans have to the Otsutsuki family.
There are two examples, the Hagoromo clan and the Kaguya clan.

I used to think that was merely a coincidence and didn't think very much of it. It's pretty baseless by itself.

But there's also Kimimaro's now extinct clan, the Kaguya.

And also the dots above their eyes.
There is definitely some sort of connection here. Anyone possibly know what's up?

Perhaps the Kaguya clan were Kaguya's people? She was a princess, right?

Hagoromo spread his chakra to everyone, and that's what spawned all the random clans. I guess both the Hagoromo and Kaguya clans took the names in respect of their former royalties.

While Senju/Uchiha and possibly Uzumaki/Hygua are the blood relatives of Hagoromo and Kaguya, which would explain why they are the only ones with special traits.

All just pure speculation.

How can you just say that? Kaguya and the Kaguya clan have the same style of hair and dots above their eyes and there's no connection?

The hair pattern is similar, but not enough for me to come out and agree that a clan completely unrelated to anything revolving around Rikudo and his familiy is somehow connected. Especially when its just similar hair design at the top.

The dots are located at the same area, but are clearly different.

I agree that it isn't much to go on, but I think it's enough. Kimimaro Kaguya had a unique hair style with his zigzags. Kishi went out of his way to give Kaguya Ōtsutsuki the same zigzag Kimimaro Kaguya had. Isn't it at least a bit curious?

And about the dots, yeah they're different. But still dots. Probably make up or tattoos.
Now that I'm on this, the "maro" in Kimimaro's name suggests royalty. Or at least that's what I read somewhere. I think the dots also symbolize some sort of nobility. And as you probably know, Kaguya is a princess... I dunno, man. Maybe I'm thinking too hars, but I see connections.

It could all be coincidental, tbh I don't see the point in making the Kaguya clan relevant again at this point, but not sure. Nice work though.

Well, looks like you were right all along.

Looks like there were other clans that came from her besides Senju, Uzumaki, Hyuuga, and Uchiha.

they were wiped out because people were scared of their abilities it was Kirigakure who also wiped out the Yuri(Haku's) clan they seemed to be scared of KKG users

I thought it was because they were blood thirsty savages who stupidly attacked Kirigakure and got slaughtered.

Well, this chapter confirmed kaguya has bone release just like kimimaro. So looks like the kaguya clan truly does stem from kaguya.
