Just because Kishi never bothered to expand on Minato's family doesn't mean he was the last Namikaze. It would have been mentioned like how Sasuke was being referred to as the last Uchiha.

How exactly are we supposed to continue this conversation when Kishimoto didn't elaborate on them? I mean that's the problem in itself... You can assume that he wasn't the last one, considering if he had parents who helped create him, but then again Naruto had no other relatives otherwise he wouldn't be a orphan. So they're probably dead, considering Minato was born into a time of War.

He only had Jiraiya, and the student of his father (Kakashi). Whom neither had the time to raise a child while being active shinobi for Konohagakure.

It's silly to believe that the Namikaze is anything other than a regular last name to a family whom hold no relations to a Clan or a bigger picture. Minato was known for his own Genius and skill - Rather than his last name..

Some of them have yin or yang since they have hiden jutsu relying on them... I guess. Ultimately, we never got any clarification beyond yin = spiritual and yang = physical, and the fact that non-elemental jutsu are based on them. Apparently, at least Nara jutsu are yin-based while Akimichi jutsu are yang-based. So there's that.
