In Naruto world, I wonder, whether all surnames represent clan names or not?

For example, what is the clan of Kakashi Hatake?
Hatake or Gaiden?

I am just wondering.

No, not all surnames are clans. Example: Mitarashi is not a clan. Not everyone has a clan.

Not every last name is a clan....happens that many of the K11 are clan members. For example Rock Lee and Sakura aren't members of a clan, and Naruto's clan is basically gone. Same with Sasuke.
