So we'll start with staff techniques:

Description: A very simply, yet tricky technique, the user begins by channeling their futon chakra through a staff. The futon chakra within the staff causes the round body to gain a sharp, cutting quality, allowing the rod-like staff to cut like a sword regardless of which point makes contact with an object. The futon chakra causes the staff, regardless of what material it's made of, to cut with the same power as a steel sword, and allows the user to cut through up to A-rank raiton techniques.

I don't want to focus on how it's done too much, though knowing is good.

So, basically, you focus your Fuuton chakra into your staff, and you cause it to take on cutting properties without changing it's shape or coating it in wind; no matter what part of the exterior of the staff touches something, it is guaranteed to cut like a sword, as opposed to a sword which has a flat side. Now, the sharpness of your staff is such that you can chip a basic sword, cutting it in two with enough force/repeated striking; it's basically a very sharp bladed weapon with the leverage of a staff. The wind chakra cannot be seen except by dojutsu and sensors, and requires no handseals, making the technique very useful for sudden attacks to throw your opponent into confusion.

Please tell me how you would use it, and perform a basic staff-based combination against my clone, using this technique at least once. Advantages and drawbacks are basically what I'm looking for from you to make sure you can understand my technique.

I would use this for more of deceiving the opponent, if I was to charge them with the staff/Lance without the pointed end, they would think they can slice through it, in reality I would have the upper hand and surprise them, hell even overpower them. The best part of this jutsu is how it is strong against lightning, we have seen how much people like to use nagashi for their swords. This CJ would help negate that, also it stays active for 3 turns meaning I don't need to constantly stream chakra. The worse part is, if the user has a dojutsu then the element of surprise is lost, and lets be honest, most deaths in the RP is because of snicky attacks.

I charge at the clone, with both my hands holding onto my Lancer (the blunt end facing the clone), I swing it with both my hands down in a vertical swing hitting the clone in the top of the head, right after I daze the clone, I then channel the fuuton chakra towards the blunt end sharpening it and then stab the clone in the stomach straight forward aiming for the stomach killing him.
