You guys believe a civil war between the alliance will occur after Madara's defeat?

There may be disputes between ninja deciding the fate of the biju and Sasuke (with him being a criminal and all), like how they did with Obito but Naruto and the Kage would most likely straighten it out quickly.

Over what? The Bijuu's? I think they should find new hosts that'd make good Jins like killer bee and naruto.

The battle between Naruto and Sasuke still needs to happen, but other than that, I think everything will pretty much end with Madara's defeat. At the moment, it doesn't look like any of the kage are going to die, and they're all on good terms with each other at this point.

I think Sasuke will manage to turn everyone against the Bijuu and Naruto will defend them.

No I don't think so, that would be horrible writing if it did. Like terrible, it's extremely contradicting to the whole theme of the series and this arc.

How would it contradict the theme of understanding?

You guys act like Madara is the final villain of the series or something.

If the Narutoverse is politically similar to our world there won't.

If the Shinobi Alliance win the war, there'll be no civil war since a new world order would emerge, where globalization takes place. This means that there'll be probaly a United Nations for Narutoverse, a global army like the UN peacekeepers, international laws, and so on. Countries will lose much of their sovereingty and merge together as one big country. Civil war is also not possible because after the war all organizations, parties and clans would have been weakened due to war, and only the shinobi nations would have true power, since their counter part has been eliminated. This would cause the feudal lords to have monopoly on power.

It's just like history. Think about the cold war. When the west was "threadened" by communism, they solved their problems and united to fight the emerging communism east. They created NATO, a military alliance, just like the shinobi alliance. Now that USSR ended and they have no more reasons to keep NATO, NATO is still up and very well. It has been even deployed in most recent wars like Kosovo and Afghanistan. This means the west as we know (US and western Europe) is still together because they noticed that together they have monopoly of power. That's what shinobi alliance will do when the war ends (if they win).

It's possible.

What lies ahead after the war is a mystery, I think at this point, the only thing that is logical to agree on is that the manga will focus on Sasuke after Madara is defeated - that's if Kishi's quote is anything to go by. If it goes as far as a "Civil War" then Sasuke will definitely be in the middle of it.

I can imagine a lot of Shinobi having some strong opinions about Sasuke since obviously the manga will be focused on him after this war. Don't be fooled, there's going to be a LOT of people that won't trust him. I think despite him helping in this war, the five nations and their citizens will always have a grudge for the "ex" international criminal. They obviously know about Sasuke, he attacked the Kage Summit - there's no way that didn't get out to the public. Basically, don't be surprised if he's shunned a thousand times more then Naruto ever was and this will an obstacle he has to overcome if he ever wishes to be in a position of any major political power.

Realistically, he should be apprehend. Put on some kind of trial. Usually I'd imagine it'd just be a death penalty but plot won't allow that and because he has helped in this war I imagine he'll be allowed to speak. I can imagine the truth about Itachi and the Uchiha coming finally coming out to the public and this along with other points will back-up his goal: He wants to be Hokage. His reasons for wanting to become Hokage aren't generic - it's not because he wants to be known as the strongest Hokage or to be acknowledged. He wants to make sure that what happened to him and his brother never happens again, to anyone else. He wants to change the system that keeps failing again, again and again. He'd be a mix of Tobirama and Danzo. His goal is really quite personal to him.

It's unlikely, but definitely not impossible.

I don't think the Alliance will remain long after the war, since there will be no common enemy to unite against. However I expect the villages will go back to their usual business, with improved relations between each other. It'll be fairly peaceful for a time until they inevitably return to hostilities.
