DAMNIT! Why can't I have a moment of relaxation!? Now I have to fight against this along with fighting for the second. I am sick of our shitty politicians.

They are tightening the grip once again. Soon, even thinking will be outlawed

Lol They are wasting their time on a stupid Bill like this when they could be looking at more important matters. Politicians are so dumb.

Whelp I sent messages to all of my senators telling them if they vote for it we will NOT forgive them and that I will be voting against them next election. The internet will also do everything in our power to make sure you do not get elected.

It's hasn't even been passed by the Senate yet... and Obama has already said, that if it does get passed by the Senate, he will VETO it.

Well, hopefully this doesn't get passed and hopefully they won't care enough to override Obama's vote to Veto it. However we all know what will happen if this bill gets passed.

It won't decrease terror attacks its just going to increase it, give it this bill is going to push some people over the edge to do an act of violence on the U.S government. Obama knows this, he fears he'll lose votes and become unfavorable if he let's this bill pass that's why he's forbidding it.

Allowing it to pass is probably going to destroy the U.S from the inside rather from the outside.

As if this matters, there are thousands of proxies, hundereds of IP blocking programs, the electric companies dont give a shit either way. The only people that this would really effect are the ones that have no idea what they're doing in the first place.

I'm not too terribly concerned.

The internet is, by its virtue, realistically impossible to control. The types of things they have passed into law simply have no effective means of implementing (because they wrote it as through the internet was a series of tubes) and any non-compliant servers can circumvent the whole works.

They should actually know better, as they authorized tunneling SIPR over NIPR using industry standard protocols to secure Secret and Top Secret information that must be shared between remote locations without a dedicated connection to the SIPRNET. It's basically a VPN service... which is exactly what a number of open projects out there do (and if need be - they can be forced 'underground' without publicly advertising the service and use a number of protocols to evade detection).

It would be more effective to write a law to reduce the frequency of hurricanes by employing illegal aliens to stand off the shores of cities and beat fishing poles against the encroaching swell.
