check it out, know what to take in and what not to take in, lead yourself threw your experience, not thru what society tells you is right and righteous

apparently a mini summary would help, well this isnt really one, but if your to lazy to look at my reply here you go

im sure it can be applied that way, but what its sayign is the heart is able to send information to the brain 4 ways, and the heart sends more info and sends it faster to the brain, than the brain does to the heart. If one could make their brain adn heart more coherent they would be able to make more accruate decisions, and you would me overall more effiecnt. and example is if your ina life or death situation, your brain will take a past emotional memory to learn how to respond to what is happenign to you,(if you had a gun in your hand) that response would most likly be to defend your self with offense, and youd most likly shoot depending on who you are. but if your heart can send information quicker than the part of the brain that reacts to situations like the one im describeing, than you could make a better decision, like not shooting, because your consciously aware of why your acting, and how your acting. due to your heart sending information quicker than your brain..(meditation helps) and all are organs have electromagnetic fields, your hearts is the strongest, it can befelt by the most senseitive machines up to a few feet i believe it is, and our hearts can not only send info to our brains, but to other peoples brains as well.

just putting it out theree, decide for your self

p.s. the website i linked, it isnt the only one out there, its just one link of many that you can learn from.

So, I shouldn't take in what society tells me, I should take what this random site thing tells me too instead.

So basically, those people who are physiologically fit are able to empathize easily to other people's feelings? That they are more attuned and sensitive?

maybe you shouldnt read it.. considering you couldn't figure out that i meant you need to determine what to take in FOR YOUR SELF

And I'm supposed to do that because it told me to? If I am to determine what I take in for myself, wouldn't accepting what this random thing I've never seen before tells me I need to contradict that?

That's gonna be tough, not an easy feat. Since most people are either: "more cognitive" or "more affective". That is, some are inclined to listen to their heart or follow their emotions (affective), while others tend to compartmentalize or use their logic (cognitive).

I wished the study could've presented more results where gender is a factor, since it is mostly a stereotype that most women are affective and most men are cognitive.

Being able to act according to what both the heart and brain says, that entails, IMO, a self-actualized state and a complete sense of internal balance. A difficult feat, but I guess it would be immensely satisfying if one is able to achieve it.

difficult, no doubt. tho possible. i find it interesting because the mind was always thought to surpass the heart, the one to make the decisions, that the mind is the way to effiency, but now the balance between heart and mind, is the way. the fact that the heart can send information quicker than the brain can, and threw electromagnetic pulses is just mind blowing in a way. maybe it just me but i see alot of possibilities, and ive been a very deep thinker my whole life, and its like reading my thought on paper when i reserch this. im not at the apex of balance, but i do understand the feelings they describe. and some things just cant be explained threw words.

Physiologically speaking, the brain is indeed superior to the heart, what with all the bodily functions it has to maintain. But that does not make the heart and its functions any less important.

I think this sort of stuff is a task of a lifetime, and not something that you can just do when you are a younger age or something. Experience as well as physical and mental well-being would help a person to arrive at such state.

This is indeed promising, and I do hope there are other studies to back this claim, and application of actual data to daily life.

i think its because the heart sending info to the brain faster than the brain can, makes it so that the brain can make better decisions, the brain is still doing the work, just more efficiently when the heart is in sync. i thank your for the serious intellectual response youve given me.

Indeed. You're welcome, and thank you for this thread. :) It's nice to have threads like these, a good break from the usual. It was a pleasure talking to you too.

Is it that your/others heart can send information faster than your/others brain or is it that your/others brain takes less time to decipher the information sent from your heart?(one of the most essential organs)

im a little confused on what your asking but, your heart sends info 4 ways, and it sends more info, and it sends more info faster, than the brain could send it to the heart.
