Shisui and his partner during this round of the Chuunin Exams, Chaikoka, had recently finished a fight with another group and had headed off deeper into the forrest. The young Uchiha felt thankful to have such a talented shinobi as a partner, but he hadn't really gotten to know the man too well yet. He decided to take up this opportunity to do just that,
Nice work back there Chaikoka... Listen, I was just thinking-
Shisui cut himself off as he suddenly felt an uncontrollable aggression towards the man he had been speaking to. Though he was thoroughly confused with himself, he suddenly saw something wrong with Chaikoka's chakra flow by using his already active sharingan. Looking down at his own hand, he saw something odd with his flow too.
Not good, it looks like we're under a genjutsu...
Shisui attempted to escape it using his 2-t sharingan, but failed to do so.

Shisui bit his lip and dropped to one knee, his left hand gripping the wrist of his left as it struggled to move towards his ninja pouch. He could no longer control his anger, even though he knew that there was a high probability that a genjutsu was causing such emotions. He reached into his ninja pouch and produced three shuriken which he began to move with his hand in the motion of a throw. What Chaikoka likely didn't know though, was that Shisui had begun to preform a technique. By channeling raiton chakra into the shuriken and directing it to the clouds above from them, several bolts of lightning struck down in the blink of an eye, burning him horribly and lightning him on fire.
Before he had finished the motion to throw the shuriken, Shisui had gathered superheated chakra in his lungs, then brought it to his mouth. Exhaling it in the form of fire as he released the shuriken, they passed through the flames and lit aflame. The three metal objects spun through the air as they moved toward their target, Chaikoka's upper chest.
