Murdered is an understatement, it would have been a massacre haha, it would have been such and over kill. In my opinion he was the best during the whole exam.

If Kishi would just of let Pre Lee get is time in during the exam maybe he would have been better off in the rest of the story too which is sad

I don't know how Sasuke > Gaara in their match. Sasuke didn't even look as strong like Lee. That shows us that Kishimoto trolled Lee to not take Gaara's edge.

Yeah, kishi just wanted to show everyone how strong sasuke was because he could beat gaara when lee couldnt... But lee was way stronger than sasuke.

The matches kishi decides to make doesn't make the least sense. How does Naruto beat Gaara, but loses to Sasuke? They're matches i don't comprehend. Even gates lee should be stronger than Naruto in Part 1.

It would have been better if Kishi putted Neji, Kiba, and Lee. A few matches in Shippuden. Sure, Sasuke and Naruto are awesome. I just feel Kishi dropped progressing the other characters for Naruto and Sasuke, Akatsuki, and Tobi.

Agree 100%, those three + shino really should have had their time to shine in shippuden.

Yeah besides Naruto and Sasuke. Those three were something in Part 1. They never got the chance to shine enough in the spotlight. Kishi is a great writer and all, but i feel he failed in concentrating on the other characters. It didn't have to be all of them, but at least a few of them.
