Chapter 6
Ichigo and Zetsu stood at the beaches of the main island over a pile of dead Kirigakure shinobi. The Susanoo that surrounded them disappeared and Ichigo covered his right eye.
“I hate using that thing, it makes my eyes tired.”
“Don’t worry about it, we won’t need it to kill these ones.” Zetsu snickered. The two shinobi faced another unit of frightened shinobi, at least 12 shinobi stood before the two Akatsuki members on their guard. “We should get this over with quickly and take down their tower.”
“Yeah…” Ichigo said as he approached the other shinobi, “Since I’m tired I’ll give you the option to stand aside and live as I don’t much feel like wasting energy on you.”
“No way in hell are we’re letting you anywhere close to the tower or Kirigakure for that matter!” One shinobi said trying to be courageous.
“Though there is no real stark contrast between hell and this world we live in, there is still a distinct difference.” Ichigo paused and then suddenly appeared behind the shinobi who talked back, “I’ll make you wish you were in hell,” he whispered. The shinobi turned his head to look at Ichigo, bringing him within the gaze of the shinobi’s Sharingan. The world around the shinobi began to turn blood red as he experienced his body beginning to burn. The shinobi yelled out in pain.
A shadow appeared above Ichigo and he quickly moved back and beside Zetsu as Rasnall fell from the sky, landing his palm down where the shinobi once was, “Jyuuken (Gentle Fist)!”
As Ichigo was still air born he noticed several shuriken coming towards him. He took out his own kunai and began blocking the Shuriken as he came down to the ground. The moment he landed Ichigo found himself unable to move his feet, noticing a clear pink crystal like substance growing at his feet. Ichigo looked over towards Zetsu and noticed that he had almost completely been immersed in the crystal, struggling to get out.
Ichigo turned his attention back to the Kiri shinobi and noticed Rasnall and Guren standing in front of the rest of the unit. Rasnall reached down beside the shinobi who had fallen into the genjutsu and pushed his own chakra into him, dispelling the illusion.
“Insects,” Ichigo said in a low tone.
“Listen carefully, one of you take this one back to the tower for medical attention. The rest of you head to Hagi Island immediately and protect our southern flank.” As Rasnall said those words, Ichigo’s face filled with more annoyance, “These two are decoys attacking us from the front, while they sent their clones to attack us from the rear.”
“hum, this guy has the Byakugan Ichigo, he’ll be quite a problem, and the other one has some sort of crystalline technique. It’s rather strong too.” Zetsu said.
“We’ll take care of these guys and hopefully the ones on Hagi will disappear.” Rasnall ordered. The rest of the unit retreated leaving only Rasnall and Guren.
“You act as though we can be taken down so easily.” Ichigo said with a slight smile, “You seem not to know of us do you.”
“I know exactly who you are, you’re the Akatsuki, but that doesn’t make a difference. We’ll stop you!”
“If there’s one thing I hate more it’s arrogance.”
*Truth be told, neither of us probably stand a chance against these two, especially if this one has a Mangekyou Sharingan like Isabella-sama. We just have to hope we can hold them off long enough to get some back up.*
“Scared yet?” Ichigo smiled as he lowers his head.
“Shut up!” Guren yelled as she makes the tiger hand seal. The crystal around both Zetsu and Ichigo began to grow even quicker.
“Learn your place *****!” Ichigo raised his head and looked at the two shinobi and both Rasnall and Guren froze in fear. A sudden image emerged within their mind as they saw their own untimely and gruesome deaths. The crystal around Ichigo suddenly shattered as an electrical current ran through it. Ichigo then took out several kunai with explosive tags and threw them towards the shinobi.
*snap out of it!* Rasnall shook his head and managed to leap back, away from the kunai. He noticed Guren was still under the spell, frozen in utter fear, “Guren!” Rasnall’s voice snapped Guren out of her trance and she managed to avoid the kunai, however, she’s caught in the explosion afterwards and sent flying back. “Damn it!”
“HELLOOOOO!” Zetsu’s voice announced from behind Rasnall. Rasnall widened his eyes and turned as the plant like shinobi appeared from the ground behind him lunging a kunai at him. Rasnall avoided the kunai’s lunge into his stomach however, he was scratched on his left shoulder.
“Hakke Kuushou (Eight Trigrams Air Palm)!” Rasnall launched his right palm and released a powerful gust of wind, however Zetsu faded back into the ground and appeared above in a tree overlooking the shinobi. Rasnall looked up at the shinobi with his Byakugan, however his vision began to blur and his balance was disturbed. “Damn it…there was poison in that knife.” Rasnall’s Byakugan began to recede, though he tried to maintain it and tried to stay alert. The two halves of Zetsu began to split and they both dropped down to the ground to face Rasnall. *Guren, I won’t be able to help you like this.* Just then several kunai were shot into the back of Rasnall and he coughed up blood.
“You should worry about yourself before others there,” The black half of Zetsu said from a tree behind Rasnall.
“So fast…I couldn’t even…” The poison from the kunai knives quickly took its toll, rushing through Rasnall’s body and he fell to the ground unconscious.
Guren recovered quickly from the explosion and stood before Ichigo. “You jerk, you’re going to pay for that!”
“Still running your mouth,” Ichigo began, “Though normally I wouldn’t waste this ability on insects like you, I can’t stand when a woman forgets her place and gets outta line.” Ichigo placed his hand on his left eye and took it away a moment later, revealing his Mangekyou Sharingan. “Amaterasu!” At that moment, black flames began to emerge on Guren’s left arm, burning intensely. Guren cried out in pain as her arm burned and the black flames spread.
Guren quickly manifested more of her crystals only this time, she converged them on her arm to keep the flames contained.
“You think that’ll stop it?” With amazing speed, Ichigo appeared behind Guren with his right arm raised. He came down with his hand and Guren raised her crystal padded arm. Ichigo’s hand filled with electricity and sliced right through the crystal. He then kicked her in the stomach sending her flying back. He used his black flames again and this time, had it hit Guren’s torso. She continued to yell in pain as the flames ate away at her flesh. She tried to move but quickly gave up from the pain. The pupils of her eyes began to fade, loosing color as she fell unconscious from the shock of the pain.
“Pathetic,” Ichigo said.
In a blur, almost too quick for Ichigo to see, Isabella appeared beside Ichigo at point blank range swinging her right leg for his mastoid. Ichigo blocked the strike but was still sent back from the force. Ichigo shook his arms off from the force of the kick as he looked at the female staring at him with an expression of ice.
“Of all people…” Ichigo said with disappointment.
“What’re you scared Ichi-kun?”
“Hardly, I just find it atrocious how Kiri lets their wenches out of the kitchen like they do.”
With that, Isabella’s Mangekyou Sharingan activated and a small black flame appeared near Ichigo’s foot, causing him to step back, “I’ll be happy to fry something for your Petunia friend over there,” Isabella smiled as she shifted her glance over to the fallen plant in the distance, “I’m sure he would like his meat a little more well done and tender.” Isabella snickered cynically.
“tsk, I forgot how much of annoying ***** you—” Before Ichigo could finish his sentence, another small flame appeared, this time near his left arm. Ichigo moved out of the way, leaping backwards.
“Come now, don’t hurt the feelings I wish I had now.”
The two Uchihas stood facing each other, Ichigo’s face filled with utter annoyance and Isabella’s stare of ice reverted into a seductively venomous smile. The clash of two Uchiha Titans was about to commence…

3/22/12This was when the Akatsuki was attempting to attack Kirigakure, Pervy and Vincent came in, they made clones, and Lili, acting as Head Tactician was organizing the troops. Exile and Rasnall were to act as the defenders and were take out rather quickly. Blah blah blah, there was arguing about what was actually happening but I decided to keep it the most realistic as possible. I tried to keep things as close to how they happened as possible, aside from Liliana showing up at the scene and engaging them. As there was a retreat by the Akatsuki members (for various argumentative reasons), that is what shall be revealed later but there needed to be incentive for them to retreat and...lets be honest everybody, Lili is enough to make anybody retreat, if not for her skill but for the reaction of "damn, this ***** again, really don't want to deal with her bull" ROFL. However, like I said I tried to make things as close to how they happened as possible. Vincent and his Zetsu bio made quick work of Rasnall with Mayfly while Pervy used the Killing Intent and Amaterasu combination to get rid of Exile (Guren). The actual fights between Pervy, Vinny and Rasnall and Exile are linked in that thread and you can see that as well. Hope you all enjoy ^^
