Chromebook worth buying ?

Does anybody know if this Chromebook is worth buying ? I mostly browse on the internet, make stuff for school, listen to music and print stuff to hand it at my teacher. 199$ isn't that much.. Who knows more about this ?​

If all your work revolves around using the internet and some basic tasks, then sure. But if you want to do more than that, then you should definitely not get a Chromebook (you can get a NoteBook instead since they have similar prices).

Go and check up some reviews on youtube and see if it matches your taste. I know it is perfect for internet browsing if that is the only thing you do. Plus it is light, cheap and pretty fast.

Well all you can do on a chromebook is browse the internet, use all google apps and apps from the chrome store (which includes some utility tools and some fun stuff like small games).

No useful OS just chrome on top of Linux kernel,you might be able to install ubuntu on it but

I've been using mine for 3 years to read manga, watch videos, read the news.....yeah, basically surfing the interwebs! It isn't like a regular laptop or PC. I had an old MAC book before this. Still do actually. This chromebook doesn't get viruses (you dont download much) and yea, its been pretty sweet for me! It's seen the country too! From Las Vegas to St Louis to Richmond, Virginia! It's been everywherre and still kickin on the same battery, original memory, everything!
