Has anyone tried any of them? Like Waterfox or Pale Moon or Chromium (or even Comodo Dragon)?
If yes, are you happy with their performance?

Chromium and Iceweasel. I didn't like Chromium at all. I still use Iceweasel though. I mostly use it for the HTTPS Everywhere and Web Developer Add-Ons and it's privacy options in general.

The "secure" version of Chromium is that Comodo Dragon I mentioned. Not bad I can say.
Iceweasel is the same for Firefox indeed.

Opera is considered a "main" browser. As for Firefox, it is indeed the best in my opinion too, but some of the ones based on it (like Waterfox and Pale Moon) are supposed to be optimized versions of it. Since it is free source, this is possible.
