Is a woman really that much harder to make than a friggin universe????

You can say either way (why didn't God create Eve from Adam's rib), if He created Eve like how He created Adam.

Because it has a symbolic meaning, the event didn't necessarily happening exactly like it was written.
But christians just 'believe', they don't 'know' anything.

i don't know if there's a god ..if there is one i've never connected with him...i would like to tough. I'm a spiritual person but not religious. also adam and eve are real.... the first engineered earthlings which gave birth to the 7 billion earthlings today i try and stray away from using human because we are human but that doesn't mean we are the only humanoids in the universe.(because we are not if there ever were a extraterrestrial they probably look like us)

Okay, for one, Christianity isn't the only belief that has this. ^_^ The reason why is because Adam wanted a companion, also this companion needed to be of his flesh so that they could be one and be meant for each other. A lot of things in Scripture are done merely for our benefit, it could have been handled an easier way, but for the sake of those at the time and those in the future, it was done a specific way as an example and so forth.
