Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty psyched for Chojuro. He was kind of a ***** his entire life, so it's nice to see him finally have a position of leadership and be somebody his people can look up to. With that said, I'm not sure he physically fits the bill. While the intangibles of being a Kage are important like humility, tact, leadership abilities, stuff like that, it's also important to remember that a Kage is responsible for the well being of the village, and thus, needs to be quite the skilled ninja.
Take Minato-sama, for instance. If he was unable to defeat Obito, then the world would have ended that very day more or less. Put Chojuro in that spot, and he gets murdered no diff and all hell breaks loose. Granted adult Chojuro has had 0 chance to show off any feats or growth he gained during these years, but all the same, just wielding Hiramekarei doesn't make one Kage level.
Would you be okay with Chojuro as the leader of your village? Sleep well at night, feel safe and protected, shit like that?
